Gah. I'm having a hard time doing much besides find faults. This was better than the first episode for me at least. Although... A lot of tension is missing with how little attention they gave to the inheritance "discussion", I hate everything about anime-Eva (Her voice is so many shades of wrong from what I imagined :< ), and I'm having a hard time getting used to crazy eyes on half the characters and itty bitty eyes on the other half.

peach peach, moan moan. It's a solid show, but dammit, the VN has just been so good

Canaan is off to a good start, Bakemonogatari is pure eye-candy, and Yoku Wakaru Gendai Mahou is probably gonna be a mahou shojou guilty pleasure for me this season. Same with Umi Monogatari.

Absofuckinlutely. If you were to ask everyone here to make a list of ~20 shows you had to see to be in the know, up to speed, and in good taste, I 95% guarantee they'd all have Higurashi somewhere on that list.

I've watched too many old series.. I need some currently airing ones lol.

Ah ok. Well personally I don't want to recommend any of the animes that just started but that's because they've only got 1 or 2 episodes under their belt and that's too little for me to want to make a recommendation about. The other half are at about 14 and well I'd just be repeating previous opinions in this thread so I guess I can't help you in the currently airing department.
