Masteria Q's
#1
When do you think the next (Krakia) update to Masteria will be?
Do you think they will put in quests from CWK that you will need to go to Krakia for, or do you think they will all be within NLC and Krakia?
On the Krakian Jungle topic, do you think they will make multiple towns within the Krakian Jungle, or do you think it will just be Krakia?
Nexon mentioned somewhere that the Krakians were weaker than the mobs in CWK, but they were greater in number. What level do you think the Krakians will be?
Do you think that because they are greater in number, that there will be more maps, and training spots in the jungle?
Do you think there will be a PQ involved here?
Off the Krakian topic (Krakians remind me of Marklars from south park), do you think that we will ever need to go back in time, to the town before NLC, to fight (similar to Ellin Forest)?

Am I missing anything?

Just because they were weaker during the war, doesn't mean that's still true. xD

I think that for sure we'll end up back in time at some point thanks to Professor Foxwit and the multiple references to Old Sappe Village.

Or... we might. Who knows now that Joe and Prose are gone.

Well, I doubt that the master plan will change due to Joe and Prose leaving.

I don't think there will be another party quest. Nexon called ckpq Masteria pq sometimes.

That's probably because they hadn't made another one, yet.

So far, CWKPQ is the only version-exclusive PQ. I'd think Nexon would wait for other versions to release theirs before making another one.

You just made me think of an area of little weak but numerous mobs, that give fast exp, remember when there was the boomer glitch? They were so many that they were good exp... I feel something like that will happen, Huge mobs of not so strong/ good exp monsters, but so many that it will be great training places o,o

I have a feeling, staying true to the storyline so far, that Krakia will be... 30-70 area, reminiscent of Singapore/Boat Quay, with no end boss(at least on release), but with large spawn on all maps(it is a jungle, after all). So since Nexon is slightly generous with HP/EXP ratios, I'd guess that it will be a good training spot for 2nd jobbers, maybe early 3rd jobbers.

I really suspect the Krakia update will be in the August patch, but I'm praying for it to come at the end of July with KoC. Screw Maker, I want Masteria Expansion. Glitter I also think that Krakia quests will be coming from NLC, Icebyrd and Foxwitt especially.

In my thinking, there will be a giant circle of maps with Krakia in the middle. They could pull a Neo Tokyo move and make you get a number of ETCs to get in. It's a lost city, so maybe having these will be the key to revealing the path? That's just an idea. But I personally think they'll have one city. Or maybe they'll make the path a straight map, and have the city in parts. The jungle could have grown over parts of the city, making it seem scattered.

I kind of wanted the level range to be a bit higher, but I'm hoping at least 45-80. The Gryphons are Level 50, and since that path is toward the Krakian Jungle based on the Krakian Jungle Basin map, the level range must start around there. I remember toward the start of my Maple days on Vic, I would find the monsters hard to get past going towards Kerning, trying to reach Perion. Perhaps Electrophants, I.AM.ROBOTS., all obstacles to a slightly easier area to build up into a very difficult area. I'm hoping for a Party Quest, and I think it's quite possible. The Alchemist, anyone? If the Alchemist was a great cause for the war between Krakia and the Keep, I'm thinking in an expansion to Krakia to come some day (or possibly with this) with monsters to go toward the main CWK average of 90-100, with a Party Quest of these difficult jungle monsters guarding an underground lair where a great fight-off with a Level 125 boss (like a Twisted Grandmaster), the Alchemist, but with some mix to make it hard and unlike CWKPQ; possibly not a squad to boost the difficulty with limited players, but that doesn't seem to go with the story as well... I dunno. These could all be horrible ideas.

Any map can be a training spot for someone, so I'd say there'll be plenty...

Not sure, but going back in time sounds plausible. Put a new idea in my head; fighting in the war with the Krakians and the Keep. Glitter

Gonna pitch this in...

The area where Phantom Forest, which is the base starting of CWK, is for 2nd job/3rd job. The end goes up to 4th job. With the PQ, and Bigfoots stomping everyone, and badge hunting... So for that idea as for the Jungle being for 2nd/3rd job area, you can throw that out the window.

On top of that, lets take a step back in time:

NLC (The Beginning): Released on Summer* 07
CWK/PF (Part 1 of CWK): Release on Augest(?) 08
CWKPQ (Part2 of CWK): Release on March 09

*Request on Month release (Patch 0.40)

Ignoring NLC... because after that was a huge area of dry patches til a little after the next year...

There seems to be a base of 6 months between the CWK. Now, I know there isn't truely much data to determine this, but could it be in a 6 months separate they're trying to do? I also wonder what they're gonna do after Cygnus/Maker/Dojo, because so far those are the only things we don't have besides Aran as of major content.

I hope we don't fall into another dry session as in 07

I don't know though really, it makes me wonder, personally, what they're gonna do now. Now that Proxee and Joe are gone, who were the ones who actually were upfront with content, what is next? We're blindsided...

Well well I think we can't really compare KMS or JMS artworks to Gms ones,so I think making a past or a different time zone area will just give them pain in the ass

Cyanne Wrote:I don't think there will be another party quest. Nexon called ckpq Masteria pq sometimes.
Thats totaly true and as I already said,I suspect GMS artworks and I think they failed most of the times,I was impressed about the BGMs after all and monsters but they copied backgrounds and recolored things you walk on,at least they didnt in the cwk maps

you make me think that next major masteria update(not cwk quests) will be released in '10..

crewe127 Wrote:When do you think the next (Krakia) update to Masteria will be?
Do you think they will put in quests from CWK that you will need to go to Krakia for, or do you think they will all be within NLC and Krakia? Yes,It is all mixed so far people from NLC related to people from CWK,even that NPC taggrin said something about old clans in krakia and stuff and storyline so of course
On the Krakian Jungle topic, do you think they will make multiple towns within the Krakian Jungle, or do you think it will just be Krakia?just krakia because i cant tell you where I find place on it on the world map of NLC but they can always re zoom it like they did with cwk to add maps
Nexon mentioned somewhere that the Krakians were weaker than the mobs in CWK, but they were greater in number. What level do you think the Krakians will be?thats too hard to speculate,if they were greater in numbers and its in the past so they should be now bigger so ill say, lots of high leveled maps but they cant takeover CWK monsters' level
Do you think that because they are greater in number, that there will be more maps, and training spots in the jungle? lol@above^^
Do you think there will be a PQ involved here? No chance but maybe Quest maps in the past and stuff
Off the Krakian topic (Krakians remind me of Marklars from south park), do you think that we will ever need to go back in time, to the town before NLC, to fight (similar to Ellin Forest)? umm you need to remember no town existed before NLC,only krakia and cwk so maybe youll go back to the past in the war of cwk and krakia(=stronger monsters than today's cwk)

Am I missing anything?YOURE MISSING KHAINIIII!

You are missing a thing,
you people forgot that theres an "outer world" called Versal, and we have the ruins of krakia a town fallen in battle if im right, krakia will be the expansion to the krakian path from the right of world tour, and versal will be probably a place not in masteria(like NPC taking you over there, from high lvled maps)and will get its own world map/none.

Saar, I'm fairly confused why you brought Versal into this. Versal is home to a great number of pale-blue skin people where year-round there is just about zero sunlight, Balrogs are nice and Mushmom is the most devilish creature.

Krakia is the general term for the jungle beyond NLC where there is supposedly a city within it. Building off of one of the posts, can we just throw out the idea that Krakia isn't in ruins? Icebyrd rebuilt Old Sappe, so why couldn't the Alchemist and his minions rebuild Krakia? It can't be suggested that everyone died if we have all of the twisted soldiers now. But that would bring about questions.

Krakia may very well be high-leveled as a comment from Nexon may have or may not have regarded to the past, but think about Ellin. Level ~50 monsters and in Ellinia now are weak slimes and stumps. There's no way we can predict what level monsters will be. It's more fun to just experience the surprise.

I remember being an enthusiast on Masteria Storyline. Too bad when I quit Maple a few months back I had forgotten a good deal of it... but back now!

Ok,

1.) What does malaysia have to do with CWK? Different areas and companies, no relation at all.

2.) What CWK quests aren't released? As far as I can tell, everything is released. Things hinted at doesn't count either as not released.

3.) ENGLISH PLEASE. Not perfect, just a little more understandable. Sad

Great answers...
Do you think that we will find the alchemist in Krakia, or do you think that we will have to go chase him all around Masteria (like Korea is doing with the Black Magician)
