Dang, so much for Lienne. It sounds so much better than Rien. Ick. Maybe when GMS gives us Aran, they'll mak it Lienne just like MapleSEA changed Ereb to Erev.

If I were to guess I would guess they come from the cave in the middle, right next to the town. Either way there are two caves so...

No, its from the cave in the top of the map.

I guess you start from the cave up north and below is the ship you take to go to Lith Harbor.
And the cave in the middle is the place where you have some kind of a quest or where you do your job advancement.

I'm thinking:

North cave = The place where the Arans were frozen, and they came out.
Middle cave = Some sort of dungeon/monster areas.

The similarity is striking.

Crescent shaped-island has been done in a few games before.



Though I think the crescent shape should be essential/significant to the plot but I think Maple Story's gonna ignored all that... shame.

Looks like a Mu Lung Gardens ripoff, complete witht he dock at the bottom of the "cresent" But it's still pretty cool. Better that a "straight" map...
