Sounds plausible to me?

Someone figured that with a full squad every single member of it would have to deal 33k damage every second for the entire hour.

PB is such a fail boss... I don't really get why people even want to fight it... it costs shiet loads of money and time...
Imho fighting it isn't even "fun", it has nothing to do with tactics or skill because it's lamescripted as hell...

Papulatus does nothing interesting and gets KBed into a wall in the first 30 seconds of a typical fight and stays there until it dies.
Pianus is a problem for certain ranged classes maybe, the rest of us just hold a button and watch its HP go down. And then wait around as it casts Weapon Cancel over and over again.
Zakum is just a rock that you hold down a button to kill. The summons do nothing but cause lag.
I've never HT'd, but it also looks like a lot of sitting in one place and holding a button. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yet people find those bosses fun. It's something you do with a group, which is always entertaining.

Well if we all took your scenerio here and applied it throughout maplestory...then th game in general for you is "lamescripted"...because there is no fun, tactics or actual use of specific 4th job skills needed against ANY monsters...not to mention every monster consist of the same attack style..."stand here-press attack"..."turn and stand here-press attack"...
Now if we snap out of the scenerio and realize that the game was designed to have fun...and PQ bosses such as Zak, HT and PB were meant to do as a group...then we realize there is a challenge in each of those...and we realize there is fun to be had while fighting those bosses...the excitement of a player almost dying while in a boss run...the excitement of defeating it when nobody thought it was possible with the party you took with you...I mean come on...look at it from a different point of view...reality is...everyone finds the fun in Maple in their own way...perhaps bossing isnt your thing...but it definately is for alot of other players...GMS hasnt taken on PB that I'm aware of...but I hope that when the squads that do take on PB go...that they do it legit...and kick its butt...

I second wolfman, don't even consider this run. Lagged whole run then walked around a bit then lagged some more? Watch in HD and you'll see for yourself.

I've already made so much bank from this. Pink Bean was the greatest money maker brought to GMS for me. Make money while training.

Most of the NL's and BM's in that speedrun don't even have enough hp in the first place. Second of all, PB seduces and does alot of other nasty skills, which also will be slowing down the kill. So, I don't think you should compare PB with this speedrun at Zakum, or not even with Zakum at all. Anyway, I think it will take some time before PB will be slayed^^
