Roxas has offended me. I am deeply insulted by his comment. What people do in their personal life is their own private space. Who's to say the paparazzi hasn't blown it out of proportion? Since this thread isn't about that issue, Michael Jackson has earned the respect of hundreds of millions for his music and earned his crown as the King of Pop. I don't see anyone else climbing up to that plate and status. What Roxas comment on MJ's very own death day is completely disrespectful and completely unnecessary to the man. There are countless people across the states now, feeling they've lost a great part of their culture, as that's what MJ was. And here Roxas just comes waltzing in showing no regards for the contribution of what this man has done for the modern American culture.

While I'm a bit of a free-speech-whore, I have to say you've made a very good point. I would never say anything against the impact he's made in modern music. When half the sh'it you see on MTV is just a frail replica of who he was as a musician, you know he's made a difference. Although I personally believe certain rumors about his personal life (I tend to avoid gossip, especially that of celebrities), I'll close it in respect to who he once was: the artist everyone wanted to be.

Roxas, I don't believe it's appropriate to troll this thread further. We should all be offering our condolences to Michael Jackson, whether it be to ourselves or discussing it with others.
