Maple Twitter Drama

So basically, someone's impersonating NXjoew on Twitter. It started with MapleWorld giving some alerts like this:

And then I went and checked the actual account.

With such lies as: http://twitter.com/NXJoeW/status/2285148892

But... what takes the cake was his somewhat sensible message...

Now, he's pretty obviously fake. I mean, in his profile he links to a fake giveaway that's not hosted on the Nexon site, and is probably a phisher as well.

Meh, I just got a few laughs out of some guys mad attempt to impersonate NX staff. Thought I'd share.

"For the posts saying that I am fake; #1 Why would an official MS twitter be called MapleWorld & why are their posts grammatically incorrect."

Also the scam website to the right...lol.

Its obviously a teenager.

They both look fake to me...

If the NXJoeW guy is fake (which he is considering he quit Nexon) he sure does do a good job convicing people, look at his comments: "cash shop sale extended","dungeon closed beta starting (or w/e it said)". I can see why people would go to the link.
And Nexon doesn't call it "NX Cash" anymore, they call it "Nexon Cash"

All i see from the links is a message saying that was an impostor and to watch your accs.

Who is stupid enough to think this is actually him? He hasn't been a part of Nexon for a long time now.

MapleWorld is real, so I don't see how both of them can look fake to you.

Hime has taken the role of NXJoeW and NXProse as Game Community Leader.

I'm pretty sure that is the person behind MapleWorld, because every tweet that comes from MapleWorld with a link to the Nexon Site is either an announcement, or one of Himes posts/updates.

Lern2Tweet, MapleWorld has been Nexons Twitter for a couple of months now. No matter how awkward the username sounds, it is the official Twitter.

Mapleworld doesn't sound awkward. Just imagine "MapleMessenger"

I know MapleWorld is real. They've proven that a while ago. I never said that account wasn't real. :f6:

Imagine if their twitter account was MapleWatchLeafBrigadeWorld. I think MapleWorld is better.
