Any high level Buccaneers here got accustomed to "Dragon Dancing"?
#61
I occasionally do it, but for the most part I do w/e gets me the most exp which is usually just mobbing and spamming DS or energy blast rather than "Dancing," using a few extra pots doesnt bother me if it means more exp.

IllegallySane Wrote:No you got a point. It's kind of strange, but I do notice after the 2nd time I start dancing there is a slight increase in the time it takes to use another CSB. In a sense trying to keep chaining the DS + CSB combo is a test of how reactive you can be.

I really need to upload a video of my own soon. Goggleemoticon

I am now fully convinced that if we had access to fastest (1) dancing would be a piece of cake. I'm 126 for f'ucks sake and i still can't continuously do it.

Try this:
*CSB > DS > CSB > DS > Depends > repeat*

Where Depends refer to 2 scenerios:
1) After the last DS, all the mobs are still in front of you. At this point, I would say it is a 50-50 chance of getting damage if you csb again. To 100% avoid damage, use barrage.

2) After the last DS, your character are in some mobs. At this point, it will be a 100% damage to you if you csb. To avoid damage, use barrage or backspin > barrage (prefered). If you use backspin > barrage, you might get damage if you screw up the barrage timing though.

As you can see (or tried), the problem always starts after the 2nd DS. Makes use of barrage (even level 1) to avoid damage. Since barrage deals high damage even at level 1, this does not slow down training.

I'm lazy to do a video, and recently its been very laggy in my server, but if everything is smooth, i will try to make a video for this. Biggrin

I'm not retarded, that's how i've been doing it from day one. It's fine for a little bit but i can't go straight across himes and be untouched. I'd like to see any GMS bucc in a video do so, though.

Practice makes perfect since you already know the technique. I believe alot of people have pull this off successfully.

Im not saying you retard, just didnt know you already knew the technique by using barrage after the 2nd DS, so dont be offensive. Tongue

MSEA and GMS have exactly the same skills updates now, so you can view those skills demostration by both, and even KMS, its the same i believe.

I think Maplesea's delays are either shorter by milliseconds or they actually have faster(1?) cause they can do it almost perfectly across the screen without being smacked once. I've tried doing it multiple times, but i still get hit =(

They may also just have less server latency, affecting skill delays.

Well, i figured it out. Turns out the reason i was getting hit so much was solved when i put DS alone on a macro. I rememvered that macro thread a while back and remembered that macros activate the skill when possible. Now i just have to press DS during the CSB animation and it will work flawlessly. Big Grin

When you say "alone" do you mean like:
[DS] [DS] [DS]
or
[DS] [empty] [empty]

Has anyone tried [Barrage] [DS] [empty] to emulate the MSEA pirate?

Only disadvantage to adding it onto a macro is that you can't jump+cast and it sometimes casts it again (does for me x.x) slowing down your training.

That's why you:

A) Tap it. Don't f'ucking hold it down.
B) Put an un-macro'd DS on another button. Yes, i have enough room for ANOTHER mother f'ucking button.

I've never ever had the need to jump cast DS though. The only time i've ever felt the need was at himes, and there's no point going there anymore because soloing skeles is better.

Imo there is no need for macros while attacking Tongue
