Er........haven't logged on for a week now. But when I checked my own rankings @ Mapleglobal's website for the bloody hell of it, I noticed that my Dark Lorin were gone and replaced what it looks like a work glove (but my other equips were....intact). And I didn't remember signing off wearing a WG....

Take a look at my avatar and my sig (if you wish, check me up @ the live rankings on the website). Now I really wonder if the hacker (assuming) simply took my glove in a hurry and didn't bother to spend some time to kick the hell outta me (if this is the case).

P.S. Dark Lorin's scrolled, 8 INT 3 matk 2 slots left. Not a big deal for me though, I can get a replacement glove - but losing a few matk points in the process.

You either forgot you logged off when them, some hacker tried to hack you but their mother called them to go the dentist so they didn't steal anything else, or someone who you gave your info to in the pass want to see something. Nexon doesn't do anything to individual characters. If anything happens, it happens in masses; meaning other people would've had this happen too.

Nope Helena, I never let friends borrow my equips as they're not replacable if lost (for me, Im not rich ya know? =( )

To Ken: Well, those possibilities can be on the table. But really, my info was safe and besides a few instances (when a friend of mines went on my acc to do ZJQ for me, but that's like 7 months ago), I kept everything to myself. That's about it =\

But still, a hacker only taking my glove = a noobish hacker that needs to rethink what he's doing.

Maybe something weird happened with your ranking avatar, instead of displaying your Lorins, it's accidentally displaying Work Gloves. I remember someone having a problem like that, I think it was displaying to wrong cape or something.

If not, than that sucks, but it could've been worse. : /

Exactly what I was thinking about. We've had a rollback or two in the last week. Perhaps you got affected by that *has no better guess other than zomg hacker*?

Login and check. Once during a server check I had the NX turtle shell on... I didn't even own one!

Did you equip work gloves before you logged off last time?
If not then you've been hacked :f6:...

On the rankings, my cape appears as a white napoleon.

I think some of their images are mixed up is all. Chances are your glove is still equipped.

Made me check the rankings; and I'm wearing a white napoleon on there. I don't have one on any of my characters, and have been logged in all day.

well, judging by multiple reports of this, you're all coming up with new "white colored" (if you can call white a color xD) items. As most people in the thread've said... log in and check.

Good point, if these weird equips are all white, maybe it's just an error with the images completely loading on the website.

For those of you people that say to "log on and check": I cannot go on MS and check since Im on a forced 2-week hiatus to finish up summer school (yeah, parents). The earliest I can log on is this Thursday night.

I don't use a WG at all (the only WG I have in possession is my 7 atk 1 slot WG, on loan to my LPQ female hunter).

And it very much looks like an error on Nexon's part. Rollback couldve been possible, and putting in the wrong imaging could be another one. But the worse case scenario is losing the gloves (hell, I had this over a year and scrolled it just a few months ago with 70%'s) - but I'll just hope for the best that Nexon is trying to scare me.

What can I say? I just checked and sadly, I did get hacked.

Lost my glove, along with a few scrolls + 80m in pure mesos. That's a total of 120m+ loss right there, Im completely devasated right now.

However, good news. Hacker didn't bother to get my codar, nor my equips. I have most of my things left, he just took the most valuable things for himself.

Well, I didn't get hit hard since I didn't get stripped all the way. Time to rebuild....but this won't deter me from getting to 120. For now, PW reset....and a computer scan.
