Nexon kicks you in the throat; you recieve one more more week of a shitty patch

Well.. it kinda makes sense, because NEXON usually posts patch informations one week before the patch itself, and it looked like this time they didn't do it.

But they did. And well.. one more week of increased EXP curve is OK for me. Also, I'll have more time to level up so that I'll be able to explore more parts of the Temple of Time. Not so bad.

It's not the first time NEXON delays a patch.

It's not the fact that they pushed it back, it's the fact that they Announced it, rushing the announcement out the door on friday to let us know when the patch was, then tried to slyly change it and pretend like nothing happened. It's rather infuriating for them to flat out LIE like this.

I agree with you. They've been doing things like that since they opened Global MapleStory.

If Gaga, Cassandra, and Tienk stop working I'll be a sad bear. At first I was like, oh good more cards. Oh well ): If maple weapons keep dropping it will still be good. Be able to hunt all the stuff I meant to but never got around to.

Fixed it to be a little more fitting of what nexon has done. You only know it's not happening you when you take a closer look, cause he was a lying douche bag and didn't tell you outright.

Just on a side note, does anyone know whether Tienk will stop doing cards at the BEGINNING of the day or the END? Like, if he was set to end on the 16th, would that be 0000 or 2359?

This sucks a lot. I've been looking forward to this patch. Well I didn't expect a lot from NEXON, it's their job to screw up.

Fact is, I'm much older than that. Obviously, a handful of people were really looking forward to something that was not given enough time for, and the company simply corrected it to allow for them to finish. I don't think anyone is actually appreciating that patches take time, copypasta or not. It's not like they lied to you, they simply changed it, it is well within their power. Your example, also is poor, since you related yourselves to being 12 years old. Fact remains, you're all overreacting on something that doesn't matter. Yeesh.

Yeah, I understand that.

But stuff happens as for development. The only real reason they would push such a thing is that something really went wrong. Yeah I can people were really looking forward to it, as well as I was.

But it's just a week, it's not like time will stop somewhere. If the game was broken for a week, to where we couldn't play, rather then we can wait a week for the new content and then play... I think people would be upset more.

Well, I don't recall ever hearing about other people being in charge of when people can train, level, and quit, so just leave them alone as they be. You don't lose anything, as they're in charge of their own characters, as you are with your own.

Ironically, I see similar arguments made in games in general when they decide to make it easier. Point is, whenever they make games easier, the people that already did those things usually have nothing to lose. They're not making you do those over again at the easier rate. They're just making it less time-consuming for others to do so, and this has been quite a trend in MS for a long-while, with the introduction of things such as NLC and Leafre. (In-terms of training spots, and the NLC potions.)

I lose ranks. In a game that's pretty much nothing but a test of persistence, I'd kind of like it if my efforts of a month couldn't be duplicated with one weekend of training with a Bishop on 8x.

Is it just me, or did anyone else notice that the date of the events was placed rather oddly? Instead of being placed at the top where it normally is (Shown here. Link.), it was placed specifically on the "Finding Master M" event.

This leads me to believe that the date posted on the poster (Shown here. Link.) is specifically for the "Finding Master M" event. Considering everything else on the poster is permanent unlike the "Finding Master M" event, I think this might be the case.

Guys look at the bright side. Maybe they are planning to release something along with the current updates? Something like Maker? I'm sure if they did you'll all be happy and say how great Nexon are.
