It's funny how before pirates came out, everyone thought that NL's were the strongest class and then when pirates came out, NL's get bumped behind BM's.

Sorry if this sounded offensive, I just found it amusing.

NLs always sucked. Though for some weird ass reason because NLs started being awesome in one certain situation, everyone thought they were the strongest in the game in all situations.

Your not Bursting my bubble... but from what people say, a NL is the best attacker regardless of having SE or not... and i just owned one which had 11 lvls on me and had apple registered for liek 8 mins for which i only had 12 atk pot activated, you can't burst that bubble, i am very proud of that accomplishment, and any class that has just passed a class that was always seen as "stronger" since the beginning of time, while under those circumstances, has the right to be happy imo



Totally agree'd lol when 4th first came out and i was working my Hero it was always OMG GET A NL FOR ZAK CUZ THEYRE STRONGEST, and now when we people Zak ive seen a lot more OMG GET ANOTHER BM/MM (even if they already have one,

Based on gears and stuff, the order I listed was best dps --> worse. But the NL got the apple because the leader said "alchemist"

Silly Pirates people...at least you have Zruns though...Dedication has lost a lot of its key bossing people.

Not too sure but if you're on a different party as the NL, then you'd get white exp too. Most of the time, it just come down to who got the last hit in to get white exp, and the rest of your party leeches yellow exp. How it works between parties now is still a mystery.

As for NL vs <another class>, you should really considered the gained in 4th job. What did NL get? Well, damage boosting skills are TT and Maple Warriors (common). Venom doesnt work on boss. Fake is half ass, as it dodges attacks, yet not status. Compares that to say bowman or warriors who got alot more. So pre-4th job, hermits are formidable. After 4th job, they get little boosts. It's the intention of the maker. That's how it is. Nothing funny about it.

Yes i infact did mean that i got the kill EXP and not the killing blow, which means i dealt more damage then the NL ...
And no we did not have SE on this paticular run... but i wasent using anyother skills from another class... no SI ... own MW.. i guess im saying... during 1st 2nd and 3rd body of Zak when a 165 NL has apples for liek 18-19 mins and my 154 Corsair has apples for a total of 10 mins... deals more damage

Dark Knights get a small bit of mastery (but still have huge gaps between min/max), 3 attack advantage over Dragon Blood (doesn't matter when using Apples, or, worse, overrides them), and a skill that only works at low HP. That's it for us. Don't complain

No no mas, I am not complaining. I just wanted to point out why NL is no longer the powerhouse and that there's little comfort in "I beat a 15x NL". Nexon made us weaker, period (again, not gonna go into class comparison here).

Does it even split boss exp based on individual damage? When I was at CKPQ last night, I got about 40k on Margana and about 330k on Hsalf, I was using Ciders on both so my damage didn't change, the only difference is that I joined a different party, where the Hero in the party had dealt about 50% of the total damage.


Ever since 4th job has come out, NLs have only done good damage with SE. This really isn't anything new... Granted not every leader knows that, but still.

I did a checkup on my dps a little while ago, it's 17k (Ciders), 26k (Cider+SE), 30k(Apples), 46k (Apples+SE) (L7 on Zakum at level 116). A more than 50% damage boost from having SE.. if NLs were any good without it, they would be extremely overpowered when they got SE. (I also checked my Paladin, it does 15k dps with Ciders to 16k Ciders+SE)

How do you know you did the most damage and "won" the exp?

White exp simply means you dealt the finishing blow, which anybody can do.

Or is there a certain amount of exp from Zak that indicates this?

On x1, majority is 3.5m+ on 3rd body kill. Normally you get 4m~ if you take majority

Otherwise, you take like 1~2.5m

well i had seen the then highest buccanner in Bera's damage and it looked like he might utterly ks the crap outta me... so i was kinda glad to beat a bucc 10 lvls lower than him and this this new win, i have ksed 1 person of every class thats higher level than myself sept a fire Arch Mage and Paladin, but ya...

Look for thePIT, he hunts Bigfoot a lot and as a 17x Paladi I'm sure it's fair

Also I am grateful for the sharks of the lightning element and the blessing of buster to grant me 40 percent an hour at these Kent of the blue colour, my damage shall soon increase and become more and more powerful as my lightning enraged powers come to the fearful Viking of the spirit tribe. Then I shall destroy and ravish the lands until I have moved to their elders, the Gigantic Spirit Vikings. All along the way hoping to find one of the precious shuriken known as the "Illbi"

Stringing moves together at Himes with my marauder is awesome. It feels like I'm playing DMC3 using Beowulf
