From what I understand, what people call a "rollback" is what happens when the server crashes because it doesn't immediately write changes in exp and such to disk because writing to disk is slow compared to memory. I know that changing channel, going into MTS/CS, and logging out forces it to write your data to disk and there might be other things too. I think it might also do it periodically, but I'm not entirely sure.

I killed a BF at the very start of 2x exp in channel 2, changed channels to 19, logged off to a mule to transfer items, went back to my main, opened up shop, and then got disconnected from the server crash. I lost all exp from BF, lost the items in my shop (2 MW20 books and 5 taos of harmony) and ended up in APQ exit when I logged back on again tonight.

So has anyone had a problem logging into there character after the server crashing? when i try logging into my drk i get disconnected from the server..

ive had the same thing happen to me just today after the server check i was able to log onto my drk and i had lost a pair of FS i was wearing at the time of the crash and 3 pairs of wg's all of which just dissapered from my inv...

As if nexon dident fail enough this week after i submitted a ticket about all the missing equips me and friends had lost in this rollback i got a responce going a little like this

Wow, I lost a 10/8 cape, 9/9 gloves, 4 int yss, 10/17 earrings and a 5 INT mask thanks to the roll back and u telling me they will give me just a 2x event

1. Nexon screws up.
