You don't NEED Maker with Time Temple. Just like we didn't NEED Magatia with Pirates.

Only if you don't want level 120 equips. The only way to get level 120 equips without defeating Pink Been first is to have the Maker skill. Without Maker, it's impossible to get them.

I was just making a point, time temple is only half as good without maker. All time temple has is pinkachu and level 120 weapons, but without maker... (As far as I know, the training areas in leafre are better than ones in ToT. If they are better than whatever, it's only 1/3rd as good.)

Magatia was a sign it was coming soon, being a prerequisite, but ToT has no direct correlation to maker whatsoever. The ability for maker to create the equips that come along with that area is pretty much true of all areas, not a unique property sealing a relationship between them.

David's whole premise that ToT = Maker is a logical fallacy known as Affirming the Consequent. You're essentially say "ToT has items that maker can make, therefore we must be getting maker". The flaw in that as I said is that pretty much any area has items that can be made in maker. Just because we're adding another to the pile doesn't require maker to come along for the ride. It just means more potential things for maker to do when we get it.

The only things truly unique to Pink Bean are Time Stones and MW30. So I think if we actually devise a strategy to down PB before Maker comes out, more power to us xD

This. I can't even afford Gen 20. Yet when Maker comes out, I'll have at least +12 INT on my equips and have the cash to buy much more... Need. Now!

I think of it this way. Time Pieces will still drop. But they'll be wasted. I think that's broken.

Your assumptions, they are baseless.

I'd think Maker is something Nexon would keep under wraps until the patch. It's something the community really wants. Do you bring out your biggest news first, or start low and build high? I think that maker could easily be a part of the more statement at the bottom. It might not be, but I think it supports us getting maker rather than disproving it.

As much as a lot (most?) of us want maker, I don't see it being more valuable than time temple. If they were going to start low and build high, I'd assume they'd announce maker and keep time temple a secret.

A vast majority of gMS players don't know about maker though. It's really only garnered a large amount of attention on this site, mostly because of maplesea getting it.

El Nath: Released without Zakum, no way to get level 90 weapons.
Ludibrium: Released without Papulatus.
Leafre: Released without Horntail, no way to get level 110 weapons. (except forging, which about 2 people managed to do)

If Time of Temple is released without level 120 weapons is it such a big surprise?

"The majority" of GMS players are clueless, though, they don't know things like how to calculate their own damage or what version we got Zipangu from. They don't really need to add anything, most of the demand for specific updates rather than general "NEW STUFFS PLZ NECKSON" is going to exist on fansites.

In contrast, many gMS players, at least in the appropriate level range, know about time temple and pink bean already. People in my alliance and buddy list talk about time temple and pink bean, not so much maker.
