Maple 4th Anniversary event ended early?

Probably not going to be fixed, despite what the website said.

They actually set it to end on the 10th in Npc.wz (20090410-20090610) while all the other events are 20090410-20090617. In order to fix it they'd have to release a patch... and they're already working to release a patch next week for the actual June patch.

The day long silence on the subject after "looking into it" suggests they've realized that and are now just avoiding the subject. If an emergency SC would've resolved it they would've done one already, but it's going to take both a SC and a patch to fix.

Best bet at this point is that they'll adjust the next patch to keep this event active during the first week or similar. Worst case is they just shaft us all. Again.

Yeah, I doubt we're getting it back. Nexon has been really anti-emergency-patch lately.

Sucks, I realized today that I forgot to get earrings on my page.

I had some "special" Maple hats from last year, too, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

EDIT: Hope we get it during the first week of next patch. That means I could get Broken Glasses AND a level 70 Maple Cape! Seriously doubt it, though.

So much for upgrading to lv 75 earrings. Oh well, Mas's 10 Dex'rs ought to be plenty.

I was actually thinking maybe they'd wait for next patch, and if they didnt have a specific use for her, which I doubt maybe they'd extend her capability alone by a few days, so people could get rid of extra leaves and what have you's.

I can't see them re-initiating it next patch because that would mean either keeping maple leaves dropping or telling everyone to keep what they've got and then watching prices SKYROCKET because what we have is all we have.

Good to know it's impossible. Well, we can keep the hundreds of thousand of leaves and sell them next year at 5k each as a compensatory, self-comforting solution.
I just don't see how this human error could've occurred.. There must have been another tragic coffee accident during the coding session. ><

Pap = easy as fk to get. That's assuming you can survive the battle. But I'm going to say it's easy as fk to get anyways.

If you ask to see Cassandra's event winners they pasted the Exchange script into hers, so you can do your exchanges until the 17th via her.

Yay for Nexon being creative and coming through for once. Maybe this is the start of something good from them.

Must add my for this creative solution. They have at least one smart cookie on the team, that's good.

On the bad side, the customer service side is still lacking: they didn't inform us it was solved. The Notice about the problem still says "technical difficulties" and "keep checking here for updates". But I guess gossip flies faster than notices anyway, and in-game player-to-player info is spreading nicely.

Good, now I can get my 90 hat once I level today... or maybe not, the 70 one looks better. I guess I could upgrade/ get scrolls without leaving NLC now, which is nice.
