7-10 BEH-BLAYD, Digivices, pokemon, gb/gba (i actually thought i could go into the computer if i pointed the digivice to the computer), lego
10 more beyblade, gb/gba, intrwbz, lego, crushgears
11 pokemon and my first ever porno popup >_>, maplestory, lego

The ones I can remember...

• My Sonic plushie that I got when I was 6. I still have it!
  
• Disney figurines, especially my Snow White and ALL THE DWARVES, and my Pocahontas doll
  
• Sonic on the Mega Drive (Sonic 1 through to Sonic 3 and Knuckles), anything after that I block out of my mind, staying in my old school Sonic bubble
  
• Dizzy the Egg. I played those games on tapes. TAPES. I did play one on the Mega Drive though
  
• Lego bricks, I had this huge carry box full of them. I miss my beach themed Lego set to this day...
  
• Crayola markers, I went through so many

If I wasn't doing any of this I was just outside using my imagination adventuring in my backyard or at a friend's house playing video games for the systems that I didn't own.

That kid with an underground pool was the coolest kid on the block, but I never got to use that pool to the best of my recollection. Now that I think about it, we used to have a trampoline but my parents got rid of it.

2-5 blocks, stuffed animals, etc.
5-8 Legos, K'NEX, board games, Hot Wheels cars, assorted sports stuff,
- SNES (some Mario games, one of the god-knows-how-many Street Fighter 2 games, Donkey Kong Country (the original and best by far))
- bunch of Apogee games on an old-ass computer running Windows 3.1 (original Duke Nukem, Wolfenstein, Cosmo, Jill of the Jungle)
8-10 more of the same stuff, got an N64 and a GBColor as well. The Pokemon craze started when I was in 2nd grade (1997-1998), I think, and started to die out when I was entering middle school. I had Yellow and Silver and bought a deck of the cards. Also I played a ton of educational games because they seemed to be ubiquitous in elementary school, and my mother bought a few too. My favorites were Math Blaster and Gizmos and Gadgets.
11-14 got into online gaming. Started with Neopets, played some Runescape when it was still 2d and actually fun, Gunbound in 8th grade. I had a Gamecube but I didn't do much with that except play Melee, Soul Calibur II and LoZ: TWW. PC gaming other than online games pretty limited to RTS: Starcraft, Age of Empires 2, Age of Mythology, Warcraft III (that would fit into the next section though)
15-19 MapleStory lol. I've taken many breaks in the 4 1/2 years I've been playing this game, and played quite a few other online games: more Gunbound, Trickster, La Tale, GunZ, and Diablo II. Also played Kingdom of Loathing for a while but you really have to be into the community to have fun with that past the first 2-3 ascensions. Otherwise it's just a chatroom. Haven't done much console gaming. I bought a Wii but only bought LoZ: TP and Brawl (and my mother bought Wii Fit), and my most-played game is still Melee, lol. If I could do it again I would've bought a 360 instead. Don't have a lot of money though.

We have some of the same stuff, you just have them a few years earlier since you're younger. It's pretty crazy how widespread some stuff is.

Up until when I moved to America the only stuffs I could play with were books in a library and legos. And an archery set whenever it wasn't winter. And once in a while, when we were in the city I played tetris. When I got older I played Pokemon and various other games and when I got my bike I went on that all the time. Then I got this laptop and played maple story star craft and civ. Along a bike and an American library. Now my playtime includes this cpu and a bike and a library. I live a pretty boring life when other people think about it. How ever the library is the greatest source of entertainment fueling my knowledge and imagination with history and fiction and other things.

lincoln logs, k-nex, hotwheels, pogs, yo-yos, beanie babies, nerf things, super soakers, nintendo, super nintendo, sega genesis, gameboy, gigapets..

but the real fun was playing outside with my friends.. (but what kid actually does that anymore!) we used to go down to the creek and catch crawdads, salamanders, newts, etc or run down to the old train tracks and look around for broken train parts. found a few headlights haha.. then there was always flashlight tag out in the street at nighttime, or laser tag down at the arcade. we'd have a blast being little assholes, egging or papering people's houses or we could just sit around making up new games by the swingset.

that's what I enjoyed the most about childhood.. the toys were fun and all, but it's the stuff that I did outside with my friends that I really loved back then. sorry for not being fully on-topic.
