For the bowmen: Has the bandwagon affected you?

I never really asked this one, not that I recall, though I have shoved my views in others' faces... so here's the question.

With the release of 4th job, and skills like Sharp Eyes, Hurricane, and Snipe, has the bandwagon of players flocking from other classes affected you in any way, shape or form? Are you losing training spots to them? Are you finding yourself lacking motivation recently? Have you noticed others treating you differently for being a bowman?

Personally, I have no problem with people playing what they want to play, but the bowman bandwagon sickened me to the point where I almost quit my hunter. I've gained a whopping 4 levels (more like 1 from training, two from being begged to CPQ, and one because my girlfriend was playing my hunter) since 4th job came out because quite frankly, I can't stand it. I remember when people talked to me just because I was a hunter. I remember back when people thought bowmen were nice. But now....

I look around, and what do I see? Bowmen everywhere, with sauna robes and brown work gloves and snowshoes and brown bamboo hats, promptly being replaced by Zhelms at level 50 exactly. I see pricks tarnishing the bowman name with KSing a-la-sin-style, people cursing me out because "You're a nobody until you can be my SE mule. And quite frankly... it's driven me to the point I've wanted to quit my beloved hunter entirely.

Has it affected anyone else this negatively? People tell me to stop whining and get over it, but is it so hard to have people not peach at me for not having SE at level 47? I mean seriously.....

im pre bandwagon but not to far before. it annoys me more finance wise. i mean what the pomegranate. 5-6m scrolls(not that i buy those ones but thats the Avg price on Windia). The Bandwagon hurts my wallet... bad.

Affected me? yes and how can you not be effected by it? 150 mill SE 20's, 100 mill Se 30's, 8 mill 30% bow scrolls? Everyone is effected by it in terms of prices of the things that a bowman needs.

That being said, Im not one of those "ZOMG BANDWAGONER!!! GTFO MY CLASS AND GO BACK TO BEING A FUCKING NIGHT LORD" archer. I dont own the game. I dont have the right to make the decision of what class you want to be for you. If you want to be an archer, that's fine by me. Just dont be a complete ass about it and flaunt your funded gear at me (though my equips arent exactly bad, they're probably what the average funded archer has).

Ive been an archer 3 months into beta, meaning its been almost 3.5 years that I've been an archer (and only an archer. Ive never leveled any character of any other class over 35, rofl).

As for myself, my bowman legacy lies not in my equips or levels but elsewhere so I dont really care what the bandwagoners have to say or do as I have something they can never take away: My archer pride that I wear like a badge xP

lols, just making sure as in that SS I look like somewhat of an ass as well.

The situation was this: I was soloing cake and had done it for over 40 mill and this sader comes in and he starts attacking. Then he rudely tells me to push it >>>, leading to my slight outbreak =X The "conversation" got quite a bit uglier but I just found that part ironic as he just called one of the oldest remaining archers (not sure, but I think Im one of the 2-3 oldest behind blueanus) that still play on an archer.

As for Colum: you dont flaunt your equips at me. I dont have a problem with people telling me what their equips are. The point where I have a problem is when you go around calling others weak because your equips are better because you have previous funding. Equips arent everything and I hope more people would realize that at times =X

Yes I have been affected, bow 30% scrolls are now 7 mil in Bello and its killing me, luckily i had made myself a 106 Arund before prices shot up on both the scrolls and arunds. I am an archer of a little over 2 years, and when I started I had no idea about the Fourth Job Skills, hell, i put Sn1per in my name and im a ranger >_> no way im a bandwagoner myself. But really, I could easily put myself into the poor house by trying to scroll myslef a better bow, luckily, above average metus (metis?) are now around 5+ mil, so i would mainly have to deal with getting at least 2 30% scrolls to work and 2 60%s to work to make it better than my arund. But there is a small upside to the wagoner, my arund is now worth more than when i made it XD so i have some more return that when i made it.

I thought bishop was the new bandwagon? Especially lukless ones. Those lvl 64 wands and staffs are selling like hotcakes, and overall ints have SKYROCKETED. 30% is easily sold for 10m now, and 60% is 15 MIL +!!!! wtp??? Sure bowmaster skills are expensive, but alot of the classes have some expensive skills. SE is expensive for bowmasters, BStep is expensive for shadowers, Gen 30 is very expensive for bishops, TT 30 is even more expensive than that. Sure theres alot of people making archers, but I dont think it really compares to the amount of people making mages/bishops.

Bright side is, atleast BMs main skills arent dropped from horntail.

30% dagger scrolls used to max out at 2m in scania, and 30% 1H sword scrolls used to be 400k. Hell, even 30% claw used to only be 5m. Prices for everything have gone up, not just bow scrolls.

I sold a 30% dagger YESTERDAY for 7.8m, 30% 1H sword for 2.5m, and 30% claw for 21 mil. Its not just bowmen who are feeling the heat of inflation.

Well, technically, I'm a post-bandwagon Hunter. But I wanted to play a Hunter because I liked the 3rd job skills. Strafe and Puppet and Hawk are the things that attracted me to the Archer jobs.

Dagger was 2m bow was 1m -> Dagger is 7m bow is 7m also :p

But yeah gMS is going through an awful inflation >_> Meso bags don't help much either >_>

Not just bow users were affected by the bandwagon.

When I started my sniper, people F6'ed at me because they didn't see them often. Now I see about 15 snipers a day. Making a good XBow is definately starting to cost more; I just dumped 80m in trying to scroll a new one. The same scrolling costed barely 50m a couple months ago.

Yeah its affected me, I've dropped 90 Ranks since 4th Job came out, most to people I've never even heard of. lol

Yeah as well as the crazy prices for scrolls and other archer equipment.

I've been a bowman since Beta and I know for a fact that we were known as the nicest and most majestic class. But ever since sins started to bandwagon us, it's going downhill and it's gonna keep going.

And as for SE, yeah it's definitely gotten people to value me more at parties and bossing, especially with level 30.

The bandwagon hasn't really affected me at all. besides my buying of a 102 arund at 25 mil before the inflation (I believe 102 arund used to be considered "Good". Now it's like 106 ><") The scroll prices haven't affected me either cause i fail at scrolling =P

I was just lucky enough to buy like 10 bow 60%s when they were 300k and re sell them at like 2 mil xD
