What is "Black Armour Piece" used for?

Before I start, I'm sorry if anyone has already asked this before.

I was hunting in Timeless Temple when I accidentally got a "Black Armour Piece" from one of the monsters. Can any kind soul enlighten me the use of this item?

It is an ETC item and it is a rather rare drop. I've gotten 4 pieces of time, tons of equipments but only 1 Black Armour Piece, in my 2 hours of hunt.

I'll provide a Screenshot of it when I get home tonight.

I think it's just a random useless ETC item, like those face masks the Pupils/Oracles of Memories/Regret/Oblivion give. Just a guess, though.

erm... those 3 types of face masks are all quest items that are needed in order to go pink bean... but the black armour piece... is totally unknown yet rare....

If it's not used for a quest it's naught but some random pointless ridiculously rare ETC drop that some monsters give. I can't recall any right now cause I don't care about them, but there's a few around.

Flaming feather from jr grupins and those kitties?
Not sure if thats for a quest. I never encountered a quest requiring one, yet i randomly found a feather once for no reason.

I quested since I started this game three and a half years ago. Never once did i encounter the quest that requires that. It is also strange because it drops without having the quest started. Very strange.

You also need a Flaming Feather to make a Black Feather, which is used for another quest. No idea which, though, I procrastinate on all the old Victoria quests just because they're so damn annoying and pointless. "Kill 500 Red Snails, Lupins, and Tauromacis! Collect 100 Jr. Balrog balls! Thanks, have 800 exp and a defense scroll!" After 2 hours of hunting stuff for a level 50 quest I should at least get 150k exp or something if not a 60% weapon scroll or SOMETHING that might make me feel like I didn't TOTALLY waste my time.

I believe you have to talk to Manji first, not Chrishrama. This quest tells the story of how the "legendary hero" Tristan saved Manji's life by throwing himself in front of Balrog. Manji kept Tristan's sword, which was utterly corrupted and useless due to the sheer evil of Balrog.

I smell etc. drop item with an unintentionally low drop rate...

But keep it anyways if you want to.

I keep some rare etcs for souvenirs.

I searched for the item ID and the item name in all of the quest data and found nada. I think it's a useless, rare etc item that was going to be used for a quest but ended up not happening.

offtopic and random question, How'd you get 43% in level 200? I thought you can't continue levelling o_O all the level 200's have (0) exp in their ranks.

This reminds me of the item Isaac got from Bloctopus or King Bloctopus and finally used to complete a strange quest.

You can in msea.. if you reach level 200, you can still get exp untill 99.99% when in grays out.

On a different note:

I have a shoulder of my shoulder?
