Lidium ore

I read somewhere that in other version that have maker skill, lidium ore's price went up to 1m per ore. Is it true?

Maybe not that extreme, but yes, you need Lidiums to advance your level of maker, I think only from two to three, not sure on that.

Oh damn, I just NPCed aplenty because I didn't think I would need them for anything.

The quest for level 2 -> 3 requires two refined lidium, among some other stuff.

You'll only need 5 gold plates , one lidium and a steel plate or so , not so sure about the steel plate part though.

6 Gold, 2 Steel, and 1 Lithium.

On a related note... where do we refine Lidium? I've had decent success selling ores on MTS lately (now I know why) but where to refine or which NPC?

Yea, the lithium ore price in MSEA is 1M. At least in Bootes.
It's not use for Maker skill alone, but also for Ariant Boss quests (Dewu).

Ariant Boss quest requires 1 refined lithium, that you give it to NPC Muhammad.

The NPC Muhammad will give you a few questions, if your answer is wrong, you have to find another refined lithium and give it to him.

So, the demand for lithium ore not just come from high lvl players that want to upgrade their maker skill, but also from low lvl players as well.

In my calculation, you need at least 41 lithium ores for Ariant and Maker quests.

Ereska - 2 refined lithium ( Sand Bandit quests)
Tigun - 1 lithium ore (Tigun's Hair)
Muhammad - 1 refined lithium, if you choose the right answer. (Dewu Boss Quest)
Maker skill - 1 refined lithium. ( Upgrade from lvl 2 - lvl 3)
