Outlaw/Vakl HP washing?
#1
How important is hp washing for an outlaw? If its absolutely necessary im guess im willing to spend the money, and how does hp wash work? why does it require INT gear? Also i checked Basil on this topic as well and others say its not a bad idea to do some "blood levels" where you put points into hp every level for awhile. I think you lose around 50-60 DEX if you blood level enough to equal HP washing. What are your thoughts outlaws & corsairs?

Personally, I think the reason why ranged classes are so strong when they don't blood is because they were originally designed to need AP in HP. This changed when AP resets came out, but meh.

It really depends on how much you want to spend. If you wash 10 times, it'll cost you 31k NX. Blood builds are free. You'll lose out on damage by putting AP into HP, but it'll cost you much less.

The way HP washing works is when you level, you put your points into HP. Then, you use AP resets to take extra MP from your max MP and put it into your main stat. You use int gear to gain extra MP, because 10 INT= +1 mp on level.

oooh i see, thanks for the explaining how hp wash, so its basically the same as blood level but you use the points frmo mp so you dont miss out on the damage increase every level. How much times would i have to blood level to get 1k more hp? Like how much hp per point do valk/outlaws gain?

I believe it's about 19hp gained every time you wash one point.

Is there a recommended amount of int for a gunslinger to level with? Of course the more the better, but realistically, for the cost-conscious slinger, what should be the minimum and recommended int/level? I heard it was 60 from a little mousey but confirmation never hurts Biggrin

A pirate gets approx. 20 HP per AP. To wash 1k hp, you need 50 washes (By the way, that's 155k NX). When you take a point out of MP, you always take out the max amount, which is 16. Every level, you get 18-22 MP+int/10. The minimum MP is also level*18. So, if you have 60 int gear on, you'll get 24-28 MP a level. Really, the amount of INT gear you have depends on how much and how often you want to wash. If you want 1k HP from washing in 10 levels, you'll need a lot of INT equips. If you want to wash 1k HP over a large amount of levels, you need less gear.

You're weak as it is, a blood build wouldn't make you much weaker.

Oh ok, thanks.

I wouldn't be washing much, I just like to be prepared in case I ever consider washing. I started at 50 and should keep int-leveling forever if I last that long... Extra MP doesn't hurt anyway if I end up not washing Cool

Outlaws outdamage all other non-Cyg jobs on single target damage. Hardly weak.

No, ranged classes are so strong because we're designed as single target attackers. Melee classes raep us against small mobs (2-4). I dunno what happened with Paladins.

They just need to make more simultaneous boss fights and stuff.

HP washing isn't important. You have enough HP to HT at 170, probably 160 with HP gear. You shouldn't really be going before then anyway.

Corsairs, from what i've seen, have a HELL of a lot more HP than other ranged classes. I don't think that they really need to wash at all. The others however, kinda should blood or wash due o their lower HP-level up rates. I blooded My bowmaster, and i can deal with lower damage and the fact that i have no NX for washing makes it a necessary option for further bossing. Whilst Corsairs could HT at 16x, it would take other ranged classes another 10 or so levels before they could try comfortably with all their equips. All of Nexon's help with the new HP equips make things like this easier (MoN and that extremely rare cape of theirs).
