No, Corsair's take damage with their ship.

I thought it damaged both at the same time (hence the need for HP Washing as a corsair to do serious bossing), but having no experience of using battleship my guess is as unlikely as any.

Edit: ninja'd

Half points for partying Frown

I suppose you could party for the hard parts and save, then solo the next few stages at a later time.

After much experimenting lately, I find that Partying gives (n-1) points for each boss. For example, Mano gives 2 points for soloing right? In Party mode, each party member gets 1 point.

By the way, you can only save progress in Solo mode. If you quit in party mode, you must start over from scratch. However, solo mode records do not get affected by party mode progresses. For example, you can still go directly to Floor 18 in Solo mode even if you just got owned by Old Fox(Floor 19) in Party mode.

This is like saying a 6x hunter should snipe squids instead of train at windraiders because squids give 3x the EXP

What if solo mode gave 1billion points, but it took you 5 years to do it. Would you still do it? No.

Moral: Partying may give less points per, but you clear stages much faster than normal so in an X time interval, you actually gain more points.

I dunno, the logistics of partying seem so...awkward? CPQ style pots etc. But that's just me.

Besides, I'm sure for the first couple of levels soloing would be the faster way to get points (at 100+ or so). Maybe once you start on stage 15 then partying becomes more advantageous.

^Start at like round 3~4, do it, repeat.

Can you like.. save at round 3, then clear rounds 3-5, get out and start at 3 again? o,o

You can only save on the 'resting floors' after every 5th round if I read it right.

Yes. And you can do it over and over, til you save at another level, which overwrites it.

The current method of chalking up points would be:

Save at 20. Fight till 28 (manon). Exit, enter, save, and repeat. You can chalk up to 1k points in an hour depending how fast you can attack. (I get 900+ as a BS)

The first few levels are definitely a no-no. Too little points/min as every round you have to wait for the animation of the boss to appear, entering the portal etc etc. You have to consider the points/min to find your optimal way to get your points quickly.

Partying is also not advantageous for chalking up points because there is no save option. You have to start from round 1 every single time which wastes a lot of time. Futhermore, the points for every round is reduced by half compared to solo mode. Partying is only good for people who aspire to complete the entire dojo challenge.

So I take it there are no special props if you solo the final boss?

You gMS players are going to love it.

1) You have nothing better to do other than grind, hunts monstercards and quests..

2) rewards are epic.

3) People will respect you if your rank(belt color) is higher.

So the PQ gives rewards other than just points? What kind?

Eventually you can get belts, which are unique equip types and they give +x stats to the four base stats.

There's also medals for beating a boss 100 times, but they are time limited, meaning they expire >_>

The belt scrolls are +1 for 100%, 2 for 60%, and 5 for 10% right?

How long do the medals last? can I get more than 1 of them? Like... is it possible to keep killing the final boss so that once your medal expires you get other one?

I hear it lasts for a day. And you need to get one medal before the next. Like, first you need Mano, then Stumpy, etc. etc.
