What I meant is that thieves/archers will still have to loot potions more often, meaning warriors lose some potential to use potions efficiently. Not a huge deal, but it can make a difference.

Bandits have chackra, and hermits have drain. Bowmen have puppet, too. Everyone has their tricks, I guess. Also, as a hermit, I'm getting endure upped now, since I sense it'll be USEFUL for the mp recovery...

Nope, all the potions are party potions. Which is useful because if a cleric gets locked and no healing is available, just ask other pt members(who is near to it) to loot All-cure.


But MapleSEA players are pineapplers at times, they dont bother to loot a single pot for the other members who are about to die. Happened to me a few times, but i managed to avoid boss attacks by jumping. There are times which skill lock ends when im still alive, id be cursing them and not heal. heheh

i agree with this...i dunno y mapleSEA ppl are so selfish dun even bother bout thier party member, of cox not to all server player, bt the few black sheep...doh im a maplerSEA player...few time i died becox they didnt loot the pot, even if i asked thm to..they continually ignore u and keep hit..till u die...

It's really stupid. Unlike cPQ, if you don't loot the pot in that particular stage, you can't loot it anymore because it's in the previous room.

So it's kind of now or never. I try to loot all pots in Party mode when they drop (except for all cures, they're really useful when against Papa Pixie and Frankenroid) so that we have minimum death, maximum point gain.

Very interesting, do you know when we are going to get any scrolls for all of these new accessories? (Belts, rings, etc.)

They should either release some cheap scrolls for accessories (+HP?) or just not give them slots at all. Such a damn pain.

No kidding, HP/Avoid scrolls would work and not unbalance the game. Maybe Hands for Maker, wdef, mdef. Mediocre but better than nothing.

A side note: Never underestimate Papa Pixie. Always remember to have your "attack" key on your keyboard. (Most of my buddies that are past fourth job just dumped that key at the bottom of the keyboard ) Why? Once Papa Pixie seals/darkens you, it's GG. If he does both, even worse. I've been killed many times because of that.

All you can do is sit and pray he summons one of those Pixies so you can kill them for pots. (If you're darkened, then... Oh well.)

On a side note, DrKs have the highest base damage range in the game, and even buffless can break 12k hits with the basic attack (Zerk is a passive, not a buff). So even I'm sealed the entire match, I'll be alright. I'd be more annoyed at darkness.

Well, bossing in general isn't.

Corsairs have a pretty bad normal attack, too. On the bright side, Papa Pixie would only take me 10 seconds to kill and probably won't have a chance to use any skills.

But Corsairs, along with bowmen, are the only classes without either a 'drain' type of skill or a great deal of health which is a pretty tough disadvantage

We do have a good deal of mobility and can KB things consistently where other ranged classes can't though, and we're not nearly as likely to run out of MP as other classes, though (I have about 3700 MP at level 144, when most archers don't even have 3k). I dunno. I don't think we'll be that bad off.

Puppet would be an advantage though. Although Corsairs could summon an Octopus in case they get sealed.

I think there will be some unhappy people when the autoban system meets the invincibility buff.

doesn't corsairs battleship protect from character damage and instead damages the ship?
