KoC: Cygnus or Crimsonheart?

MetaSeraphim Wrote:Just to point out that this thread is just like that whole thing a while back where people were saying that you would get your 4th job in NLC.
That was a good idea.
(Disregarding the version storyline disharmony that would result.)

I want to play KMS, translated. Screw this world tour and NLC. Well, Masteria actually isn't too bad. No exclusive classes though.

Version-specific content almost always sucks. It rarely fits into the theme of MS, tends to be glitchier than the rest of the world, to be completely unbalanced (Showa bosses), and to be either too good (NLC pots) or too fucking crappy (the entire area of Singapore minus Latanica and two mobby training spots, most of Showa/Zipangu minus Himes). I've learned not to trust local versions to produce anything desirable at all.

That would totally stray away from the whole "Black Magician" storyline.

Don't forget Targa and Scarlion, major money-making bosses with a better-than-zak helmet and skillbooks/scrolls. And, of course, our cheat pendants *cough* MoNs *cough*

Beserker101 Wrote:You know, if Nexon put enough thought into it, they could probably realize that their Masterian guilds could become a secondary class. Basically you have your Adventurer/Cygnus class and then you could just go to Crimsonwood (past maybe) and talk to someone and become an honorary member of a particular guild and you get new skills depending on which guild you choose and you can get points through quests, etc. Just a thought to put the masterian class idea into a usable perspective without overloading the game with different classes.
That would be a very good idea... join either of the 2 clans (forgot the names... Dragon and Ninja?) For a little set of skills like a "clan skill book" that you can use with points from quests...
