Wow. I liked #2, very detailed, #1 doesn't deserve to be first, I think #4 was the best.

I followed it on the forums, and am 99% sure the first place one was rigged. Almost all accounts supporting it joined up within 1 or 2 days of the pictures being posted >.> Personally I think the Lycantharope or Horntail should have won.

#1 does look like a trace. The Horntail one, while it looks like it took a lot of time, everything seems off. From the bottom to the top, things aren't drawn right according to their perspectives, blah blah blah. It's just an ugly picture to look at.

Numbers 3 and 4 are the best of the so-called "Top 4." Nexon should have decided the winners themselves, not that I think they could do much better, but it's been proven time and time again, overall, the MS community has an average IQ of about 50, max. >_>

I agree totally. WHY wasn't the lycanthrop in the top 4?!! That POS #1 drawing just erks me.. I never really liked black & white pictures before BUT those 2 are incredibly awesome (SO f-ing detailed). Wow so the forum people voted.. IT ALL MAKES SENSE!

I believe the person who posted the first drawing had a link from their deviantart account asking people for votes.

That's the problem with people voting. It turns into a popularity contest and the bad ass people usually lose.

I would think the best way to do it is probably to have it weighted: User votes count for say 30% of votes, criteria counts for 30%, the nexon staff themselves count for 40%.

The thing with voting is that it'll never be fair, but it's also good to have thier imput as well so I'd say the best way to do it is probably to give the voters <some> say, but not complete say.

After seeing the winners, I'm disgusted. 3 was amazing, 4 was great. 2 Was detailed and had a lot of work in it, if a bit off, and 1...1 was crap. Not bad for a drawing in general, but, like others have said, it looks traced, shows little to no originality, and just doesn't stand out. The lycant drawing was insane, I loved it, and it didn't even break the top 4. Meh.

What should've happened was to have some categories, that's what we did in our video game contest. It was Best Graphics, Best Gameplay, Best Story, Most Innovation and People Choice. Judges choose the first 4 categories' winners, the last one was entirely on voting.

Or have three winners chosen by (competent) judges and one that's the People's Choice (voting).

i liked #4 and the lycan the best. I just.. dont like the art style of 3, but i agree with everyone else that the "winner" was an awful picture.
