So, if you're wondering why I made this topic.. I went to my friend's house the other day to chill out a bit. He told me he got Tales of Hearts (emu), so I asked him how it was. He explained it to me using only 3 words:

"Tales of Eternia"

So the combat system and how it's designed looks very much like Eternia/Destiny II, I saw him playing it a bit, the only problem was that it was in Japanese. Seems like it might not have a US release either. The combat-system looks pretty decent, from what I've seen. Seems to use a 'bar' for skills too, like you can use skills for a limited time, once the bar goes down, you have to wait to use skills again, so you can't spam-spam-spam like people would do in Tales of Symphonia. <_<

Also, the CG opening is awkward, because I think ... Final Fantasy when I look at it. >_> For anyone that has seen the previews, or understands enough Japanese to play or just to get through the game, what is your opinion on it?

Out of 1/5, 1 being bad, 5 being great, judging by the previews and from what I saw my friend doing while playing ToH yesterday, I'd have to give it a 4/5.

No Cash-GBA emulator (No$GBA), he's an American, but he learned a bit of Japanese and has a Japanese dictionary, and can read it pretty well. So he understood enough to get through it a bit. There might be a translated ToH ROM online eventually..

Yes. The one he has can, and yes, he told me it was called No$GBA, I witnessed it for myself.

Saw a trailer. Cg looks brilliant. Dunno about the rest. World looks sorta...weird, but it gives a more 3-D feel to it.

My No$GBA opens the file but I get what I think is an error message, on the screen, in japanese.

How is the rom version? If it's not bad I might settle for that instead.

Yes, it's a real Tales game. Tales of VS. Think of it as SSBB, but then with Tales characters.

Watching the OP to Hearts right now. It's pissing me off because the gap between the touch screen and the normal screen isn't there so the animation looks stupid. This is a pineappleing huge game though. 200mb. Great seiyuu for Shing though.

I'm having the same problem with my No$GBA + ROM. I think it's probably because my emu sucks. So I would also like to request an upload, JoeTang.
