Especially in a low-spawn map, like v/hoodoos. Fairly simple to wind walk while waiting for spawn.

Not to mention it can be dangerous at high level maps, because you may get hit while in that mode. It's really only good for the first attack.

Ill try it later and see how.
EDIT : I checked Mysterious Path 3 again and wind walk + storm breath training might be efficient on the top most lane because the spawns is quite fast and IF the spawns appear to be slower, you can windwalk and walk through the mobs to get up the boxes to shoot them. IDK how to explain lol.

You sweep them from side to side with Storm Breath (100% KB pushes them across the map every time you use the attack) so it's a lot more like playing a melee character than a regular archer in 2nd.

I know, storm blowing is still perfect for lane 3. As for bains in armory(mSEA version), WindBreakers wont do so well as how i see it.

Windbreakers will do excellently in Truckers, I imagine. Same goes for FoG, Windraiders, etc. The combination of Storm Breath and Arrow Rain is very similar to how PA DrKs use Rush and Fury, albeit with more care not to take large amounts of damage. Typhons I'd imagine are extremely fast for WBs.

Storm Breath + Arrow Rain = fail, I'm pretty sure.
Push range seems to be .x not .range, so it's 300, not 150. At least, that's what I've discerned from the videos I've seen, though in that case, I have no idea what .range would mean. Correct me if I'm wrong, Isaac.
Well, in either case, one of the two is not defined as doing something, but it's either 300 push or monster position +150 which is complete fail for Arrow Rain.

The idea is to push mobs into a corner, then Rain the HELL out of them. Not Push, Rain, Push, Rain. You don't just push monsters away and spam an attack, you close the gap after pushing. Pushing isn't for distance, it's for mob stacking.

If you can pin pomegranate into a corner with Storm Breath, just use Storm Breath. It has further range than Arrow Rain and won't aggro things behind you, why bother wasting time and risk taking pomegranate loads more damage that could potentially kill you by closing even more distance? The places to train with Arrow Rain, Storm Breath is probably the last thing you want to do there.

Thats for FoG though which is totally deserted. The minidungeon is not so harsh though, you could push the middle lane monsters and rain both upper and lower lanes along with it.

Storm Breath does the same damage as Arrow Rain while keeping monsters away from you. If you have monsters stacked into a corner, you'll most definitely want to be using Storm Breath instead.
The way I see it, they can both accomplish similar tasks (both mob collecting and damaging) but certain playing fields might favor one or the other.
I see what Joe means.
Collecting mobs with Rain -> all around you -> best use Rain
Collecting mobs with Breath -> pushed in front of you -> best use Breath

For some reason I was thinking Breath doesn't crit. No clue why.

I tried training a bowman firsthand before doing this.
Meh, level 1 crit proved to be useful although you guys might think its redundant at level 1. Like killing pigs when your dmg couldnt do it by itself, crit might come in handy sometimes. (Tried, and yes! saved my life.)
Eye of amazon was maxed before double shot because the shooting range of bows after skill changes didnt help because i was still slapping it even though theres still space, although your damage will increase if youre at point blank.
Adding SP into double shot might help in damage so critical wouldnt be needed to be added so early.
Focus was useless, wind sprite the remaining points. You could add 1 focus for teh lulz though.
Im gonna analyze all 2nd job wind breaker skills.. I cant train my archer till 30, its just pure waste of time.

after reaching 30.. i realized maxing double shot asap is highly recommended.
You need to kill bubblings at level 19, rocky masks at around level 26 and stuff.
