What to stock up on?

But anyways, last question. Is there some FM where most people sell their ores? Cause in entrance, 30min=4 diamond ores...

About 4000 members here, only about 400 of which will ever see this thread, about 8 million people playing GMS (that was it, correct?)....which means...0.00005% of the Maple population would see this thread.

Wouldn't steel prices also go up because you need tons of steel to make the weapons?

Also, I'm glad I've had a mule with 23 Sapphires, 15 Admantium Plates, 4 Diamonds, and a bunch of other stuff now.

Yes, this too. I stopped on the diamonds once I reached 3000 of them and now have moved onto crystals/Adamantium. I think I have something like 1200 crystals (all 4 kinds combined, no dark) and about 1500 Addy Plates o.O For some reason, I think Addy will be a lot, don't ask lol. Fortunately for me, no one else in Kradia is stocking up (or haven't said anything =[) so I should be looking pretty for this

I just bought a high grade dark crystal yesterday for 30m. haven't seen any other than that one, but I assume it's staying around that price.

I know this! They are just never that expensive. If you want to stock up on something then you should stock up on things that make you the most money, i.e. jewels which can be graded.

or something that is incredibly rare, like adamatium. I think the *best* place to go to try and get some, aside from browsing fm, would likely be kerning, as dont you get adam ores from that as reward on occaison? That and octopus's drop, but only thing i saw when looking that dropped them that is heavily trained on later on is duals. Steel there will be desire for, but when skeles drop it, there is always going to be some supply. Adamantium is pretty rare, at least in khaini.

Also, since i had started stocking up early ive got about 200 refined dex crystals, the high grade ones will likely be for personal use, but may sell some after i make a good new overall. Stocking up on the scrolls i would need, and holding off selling the random top luk, top str, and bottom dex scrolls i get. Decided not to hoard diamonds too much, as there will be what looks like alot of sellers in khaini. I do have a bunch of refined wisdom, luk, and power crystals, but will sell most of those.

uhhh, diamonds are 20k/ore and 200k/ref in Khaini. They're starting to go to 30k/300k. Adamantium prices have gone up too.

Not so much on steel and mithril; those would be good ores to buy. It will take a lot of mesos to buy out the market though and create any sort of monopoly. Crystals are good to buy too, but those are much more pricey than their ore counterparts (with the exception of black crystal which is much more rare than Dark Crystal). You could also consider buying Sapphire and Garnet ores as these tend to be the more rare ores and it will be much easier to corner the market. Adamantium seems to be more rare as well.

Another ore that many people have not stocked up on would be Lidium. This ore is required to get the second level maker, and I'm sure many people would be willing to buy these ores rather than farm them themselves. If you've got the time, start hunting in Ariant.

I know of at least five diamond hoarders (including me) on Khaini. There are probably many more.

Just to make sure, would we need the refined Lidium or the ores for the second level maker? Also how many would we need?

So, given that we are getting Time Temple (or whatever the hell the decide to call it), does that mean that my accidental supply of 6k monster drops lvl 111-120 might be worth something in monster crystal form? Of course, hoping for maker to come out as well since they'd still be worthless without it .

I agree on the point of Adamantium, though I did manage to find 100 of em for 20k each the other day . But even still, they are generally rarer in the FM than other more common items, and seeing as not everyone (or almost anyone) will be mass scrolling the items that require dragon spirits/scales/time pieces, Adamantium is a good place to invest as well.

Another bit of advice, while it will only last about 3-4 days after the patch, the items needed to upgrade your maker skill level will inflate as well; IE gold/lidium.

Yeah, exactly my point. Though, I really don't care for making my own godly crap. I just wanna accumulate money and buy it from those who make it. Yay for cycling of money.

Nope. Weapons of increasing level require a set number of base plates. From lowest level to highest level: Bronze, Steel, Mithril, Adamantium.

Their so expensive right now, im not really sure if their gonna raise enough for it to be worth it.

I seen shops with tons of crystals, wondering if i should buy them.

Like Wis for 200k each, Str/Luk 300k each, Dex 500k each (are they good profit?)

Also diamonds seem to be rising, and lots of people buying them... shops sell them for like 70k each now...

wow, crystal prices are through the roof in SEA. Here in gms I can find some good ones for 20-40k. Although dimonds here are starting to go up. A few people that I believe know about this are selling them for 500k. Im still able to find a few though.
