Mu Lung Training Center(Dojo) Guide

Dusk Wrote:Dodge as in not get hit at all, not just take a miss.

Edit: Like when I was fighting Luster Pixies back in the day as a level 3x archer hitting 3 digit damages, timing jump Double Shots. Except in boss form Big Grin

I really think bosses should make use of dodgable attacks more. It would make fights a lot more interesting if you could jump out of the way to avoid a seducing laser or step away from marks on the ground where pillars fall and deal massive damage.
This reminds me of something neat that was in KMST today.

So, I was doing the event, yeah? Hadn't bothered with it yet cause it looked dumb, just the cookie thing again. However, when I stepped in, there was a JQ ahead of me, with some bubbling black chocolate at the bottom. I paid no attention to it at first, and just started jumping. Messing around, not trying too hard, but then the chocolate level started moving up. It seemed like just a typical "Rise-and-fall" animation but... it just kept coming.

It's a jump quest where you must keep from falling in the chocolate, or you are kicked out. In addition to regular jumping platforms, there were conveyor belts and spring launchers.

I think something like this combined with a boss would be really interesting. It might be hard to do though, what with the lag that generally occurs at major bosses.

That actually would be a really amazing idea. It would be a fun boss battle that wouldn't just be an HP tank.

In addition, they should also add a new mini game like icy tower it would add lots of fun to the game like normal minigames you will be able to compete someone else or try beat the jump quest alone, and first one to fall loses and i think we should have a bet system for minigames like people bet on something and winner gets them both, and the you can see the bets so you can agree or disagree to that, anyway that would add fun to the game,as stated before the boss will re spawn every 20minutes in another map and you need to move another map pass a jump quest with fire going up if you fall you die(this time fire will be slow, but accidents can occur)and ending the jump quest will result entering the second boss map.
by the boss's hp the jump quest will get harder and fire will go slower,in each jq you will have two safe spots to fall on like in icy tower so if you fall one time you wont die already, just luck is needed in this stage!
that would be really more strategial than pink bean fighting

edit:******i was stating this post for black magician not pap and mu gong*******
dont get confused

I have level 21 Chakra. IT'S PINEAPPLING USEFUL, I CAN TELL YOU. I wouldn't have made it past Papa Pixie if not for it >_>

As for charging the bar, it's extremely hard for high-levels to fully charge it, since the bosses are missing you half the time.

EDIT: I made it to Crog again today. It summoned like FOUR Jr Rogs, I was going WTP@@@@ HOLY SHET. Again, I wouldn't have made it past if not for Chakra and BStep's ability to hit 2 mobs. Yay for reduced BStep delay Biggrin

May I ask some questions?
1 - Are permanent beginners allowed to enter Mu Lung Raid?
2 - Can someone explain EXACTLY about the time limit medals please? Which ones are forever, which ones are time limited?

1-As far as I know, permanent beginners can enter, not sure though.
2- All boss medals, obtained by killing 100 same bosses in the Dojo in Solo mode, ARE TIME LIMITED.
The only Eqs that the Dojo give that does have any time limit are the Belts.

Well, at the end on the JQs, you battle that fake Targa, "Witch`s Bear".

Is there a limit on amount of times to do this per day? If not, I'm gonna kill 100 Mano in a single day Rolleyes
And how long is the limit? 1 week? 1 month? 1 day?

The only limit is only being able to earn 2 or 3k points per day. If you're just killing Mano you should be fine.

I've heard it only lasts one day and one day only.

More people = more pot looting = less pots per person. More like "Bring a Bishop/Priest and have everyone else tank it"

Ah, makes sense. I was assuming there were single-person variants as well. Could still run into issues with thieves/archers using potions faster than other people.

Nope, all the potions are party potions. Which is useful because if a cleric gets locked and no healing is available, just ask other pt members(who is near to it) to loot All-cure.

But MapleSEA players are pineapplers at times, they dont bother to loot a single pot for the other members who are about to die. Happened to me a few times, but i managed to avoid boss attacks by jumping. There are times which skill lock ends when im still alive, id be cursing them and not heal. heheh

If the limit is one day for real, I'm gonna kill myself.

What I meant is that thieves/archers will still have to loot potions more often, meaning warriors lose some potential to use potions efficiently. Not a huge deal, but it can make a difference.
