New Event?

NethaScania shouted this out while I was CPQing.
If I'm right, users cannot create IGNs containing server names, with the exception of Kradia, so would this be real?
At the moment the URL isn't working so I wonder what it'll be.

Refer to Nexon's official site (http://www.nexon.net and maplestory.nexon.net) and the forums (forum.nexon.net) for further clarifications on site legitimacy. Simply put, if it's not from the real nexon.net, then don't trust it.

P.S. I've been hearing about hacks that let you create characters with server names. So be careful of imposter GMs. Also, to test if that person is actually a GM or not, you may try to buddy him/her or even /find. GMs are NEVER available to be buddied and they can NOT be found with /find command.

Nexon doesn't advertise things like this unless it's in a notice on the top of the screen or on their homepage or maybe twitter. That looks like a scam anyway, isn't the real name nethescania or something else?

The real GM's name is NetheScania anyway... so obviously a scam. Also, the only smegas I've seen GMs do are the picture ones, and you can see them wearing their hat and briefcase in those.
