[1.2.230] Black Magician rears his head

These warriors with spears behind the black magician. He DOES have an army.


Other Frozen Aran peeps. Not as important, but yeah.

Also, those other maplers we see fighting, I think their just there to show other people where fighting, not that they where also the Aran race. However, they could be, but stop putting so much on what classes are there and who isn't, it's just an intro video, not a clue that says "HAY LOOK, MORE ARAN CLASSES!"

i got a feeling black magician will have his own island/continent,why? :
1.hes got an army,think,around 1k monsters behind him in pictures it means he will have monsters that will serve him and defend him (where will they be?lienne? lienne is the place where you'll make aran,but maybe lienne's dungeon will be black magician's path because its related)
and what you people think,where lienne will be on the map and how will it be connected?

I think Lienne will be North-East of the El Nath Mountains, or on the other side of the mountains. Maybe it's even connected to the main land.

The Black Magician will have an huge army for sure, and I really hope he will have a typical RPG temple/tower, and a battle that consists of multiple parts, and not just a monster with multiple forms, but with like 5 rounds or something. I think that going to his land will involve some crazy long quest with Alcaster and all the other important NPCs, and another warp location, but not the Time Control room in the Helios tower.

Maybe a large chunk of the unrevealed part of the world map is a wasteland... But let's not get ahead of things shall we? (that line sounds weird)

I dont think lienne will be connected to el nath because its a main new job/race area,and all new maplers need to go victoria island first instead of el nath.
but the idea is nice,i guess an island that has a teleport to victoria island and a teleport to the new area that will connect mu lung land and el nath mountains(since theyre close on the map)and in there you will have a patch higher on mountains(to black magician)and path east to mu lung.
and you will be teleported to a dungeon place that south is el nath,east herb town and maybe connecting even ariant to it(adding lots of new map to make boats still useful)
nice idea and i prefer all these areas connected because u cant walk to mu lung without Hak or dolphin taxi,and ariant only from magatia and boat,and on map theyre close so it makes sense..

Whole thing reminds me of Samurai Jack - ultimate evil sends its main threat to the future (with Jack, instantly, with Aran, by freezing) and there they/he join up with others of the time in attempt to vanquish it.

So... In the end, my first thoughts were fairly accurate. Aran is the warrior class. And I'm very positive that they'll take the same path for the new classes, like bringing the mage class from the future, or the thiefs from a distant Ariant or something like that. Guessing game is always fun

The final battle is nearing... I like how Cygnus and Ahran are all related to the Black Magician. It's like a whole new class meant for fighting him.

What if the black magician hideout has been so obviously hid all this time than no one has noticed?

As for the ppl asking what could be left after fighting the black magician. I'd be cool to take part in the first great war when the black magician rose. He'd be younger, making him even stronger than his persent self. =P

Thats such a common story though, and he really didn't start it 'all', besides theres always other dimensions, both Pink Bean and Naricain are supposedly massively powerful and from another dimension, whos to say they dont just keep doing the "other dimension" angle with bosses down the road?

Don't forget about Papulatus and all the other ludi dungeon monsters. I think the next major high level area will be in the other dimension.
