this is the only thing im not going to like about Maker, ive already got godly item that i scrolled personally, such as 14 dex dark wing shoes on my BM and a 20 dex overall on my pirate. Maker will make it almost a joke to have these items X_X I may try selling my pirates overall (6 str 20 dex Pioneer) and shoes (1 str 9 dex 5 acc) before the maker patch since ill be better off just making brand new stuff when maker is out.

I'm going for 10 str 8 dex 3 speed shoes for my warrior (level 110 - and I'll speed scroll them). After that, probably a new top/bottom for my Hermit.

I'm hoping for Reverse Shoes, Gloves, and Overall for my DrK (all STR/DEX/Speed enchanted) /eventual Soul Master/Warrior, and will probably just use moderate gear until 12x on my Slinger to get Maker'd gear (which will be STR/DEX/HP) .

I know how rare the dragon scales/spirits are, I'm not waiting to find time ores even worse. I guess the leveling-up is an advantage for reverse too, but I can't collect all the items in advance.

If we get ToT before or with Maker in the same patch I may reconsider. And Gloves I'm not sure about... my 12 atk SCG is pretty sexy. I should update my Bannedstory...

With everyone and their mother doing all the 999 quests, time ores should be pretty cheap, and even moreso with people like me training on captains of oblivion for experience/ores. There's like no demand for dragon scales/spirits either. They're 2m each in my FM.

I doubt that you can ever replace an attack glove with a crafted glove. It's just that good. At least SCGs look nice. It's rather odd or weird seeing white/brown gloves.

I personally think SCG's look like shit, same goes for White/Brown work gloves.

And even though I think they look bad level 10 > level 50.

There's no demand (thus I've picked up 9/10 I need for the shoe already, just looking for a good deal on the last)... but in 8 levels in Leafre (7 on Wyverns... last one on Skeles) I haven't seen a single one. And I've heard of people going 30 levels deep in 4th job without finding any. Those aren't odds that'll be beaten by some measly 999 quest.

I'll probably go lv.100 top/bottom over even the 120 overall simply because 4 crystal + 14 slot > 3 crystal + 10 slot. Base stats are 16 vs. 16 too.

Yeah, looking in the MSEA .72 thread someone posted two SSs of a time ore dropping. Since you need to kill what, over 10,000 time temple monsters to get to PB i think they'll be pretty common. Not to mention Time Temple is awesome EXP for non-mages.

True, but for the purposes of buying/converting low grades for profit, the price of all those low grades has to be factored in too. If it's anything like normal refined crystals it'll add up quickly.

He was talking about 999 in TT, not skeles. I've personally only seen 2 scales at Skeles, no spirits. Anyways, Time Ores are a lot more common than Scales/Spirits, and you only need them, not both. I'm going with the Overall because it will be cheaper to HQ it, scroll, and level than to HQ both a top and bottom, and the extra defense will be nice. If we don't have TT at the time, I'll prob MQ a Black Neos set to make do. I don't need DEX pants anyway, and there's no way to STR pants without chaos scrolls (hmm...new project - Find chaos scrolls in prep for Chaos + STRMaker'd Pants).

Yes, when you have almost the entire high level community doing the quests at the same time (especially with much higher droprate factored in).

Droprates for dragon scales and spirits are low. Like, really low. Like, lower than chaos scroll low. Time Ores have a much higher drop rate.
