If I had been around at the start of the site, I would have made a custom skin from day 1 and there never would have been a shitty default.

I like the new skin, but it is really hard to read your name in it. Blue doesn't match dark red. Still, I like how the text changed colors. I forgot there are skins, so I don't know my favorite yet. The banner is cool, but a bit hard to read "Southperry.net".

EDIT: I like Peace of Elin, very nice colors, easy on the eyes, like a Default except nicer looking and more peaceful.

So you'd rather force us who hate the garbage custom skins to use them? Come on. It'd make much more sense to remove or stop making all these stupid "themed" ones.

Just make a nice banner for the default skin, a lot less work.

I think the reason most people voted for CWK is because at the time of the poll it was being hyped up to the max.

I'm a programmer, not an artist - that's the only reason why there was nothing but default for a while.

Actually I'm just a hard man to impress. I personally like the Magatia skin better than the Crimsonwood one for two reasons.
1.) The Magatia banner blends with the bg, while the Crimsonwood one screams "I'm a stand alone image!"
2.) The brick background thing that I mentioned before in donation land.

Saving you guys some trouble, I don't think anyone would mind using an (free) already-made skin for vB forums.

It is the default for the forum though. But like you said not the "default", aka the default vBulletin.

Are Firmament and Fusion made by VBulletin (or not?)? Because I'd choose those over the main SP's default.

I don't believe so.

I like the new 'garbage' skin. It has a certain edge to it.

It's not that I dislike the new skin, I'm just more of a fan of the "lighter" skins.

I just want to say I really like to new Funhouse skin, I believe it's 10 times better than the other ones.

Thumbs up Isaac. Still not better than the default though.

I know that people have their own color preferences and that not everyone is going to like everything. That's fine. Criticisms are fine too, as long as they're constructive. We've learned a lot but we're still new to this. What I'm not going to tolerate is general rudeness because a lot of work from several people went into these and it's just plain disrepectful to be pulling this crap.

yeah, I cant change from the default, I love the default. Everything's easier to read and i like light forums not dark depressing ones. Although I do like the cwk one more than previous customs.

That. That's what I've been trying to say already when the 1st custom skin got released.

You should learn to decently design skins like Flowsion does, before continuing with any future skins.
