But x*y*-1 equals -xy, but if you distirubute, it, then it equals xy.

Let's rearrange this. -x(x - y) + x^2 = ??? -x^2 + xy + x^2 = ??? Simplify: xy = ??? x = ![]() y = ![]() * = ???which was the original question
