He probably means perfect as in the 40% scrolls.

I got a scroll and I failed it so yeah.. and I don't have enough leaves for more.

I've attempted a few dozen times. Free INT gear is nice, especially when I can't or don't have the time to sell the several thousand leaves that I have on me and need the extra space. So far. 2 INT 4 Slots. Furthest I've gotten is 2 INT 3 Slots before it's blown up. Never gotten 4 INT. pineappleing lame.

Best off getting Earring 1s, scrolling, and then trading in for Earring 2s if you fail if you want to conserve Leaves by the way.

There's statistically only a 1.024% chance of getting perfectly 40%'d earrings, which would come out to an average of 49 tries before getting one. Doesn't really seem worth it to me.

Did it already. Totally worth it for me, since I had 6/8 rose earrings before.

Also how is it not worth it unless you have better earrings or aren't a magician? It's not like it costs any money whatsoever. It took me 5 sets of earrings and all of the leaves spent were ones I found.
