What's the strategy here? Do the two on the bottom right? Bottom left? something else?

Outlaws snipe things. The best exp is sniping the two on the left in the middle. If the middle is taken, then snipe the two on the left on the bottom.

Edit: The strategy is Freeze -> Burstx4. If you can kill a newtie in 6 hits or less (not including Ice Splitter), then you don't have to freeze it more than once. That's pretty much the whole thing.

You can hit three from bottom right if you scoot a little after killing the first two. A bunch of disadvantages to this though:

-Lazy Priests will balk at going all the way to the corner to HS you
-You'll probably have to move a lot if you want buffs from party members (SE/Haste/HB)
-Skating Nest Golems can run you over if you lag, though if you can consistently KB them with Recoil you'll be fine
-If you're weak you might not be able to kill three in one spawn

This is the best place if you're bottoming with a Bishop though. Bottom Left is second best. Top is best once you get 4 second freeze. I hate middle. With two octos set up and Gaviota macroed they usually die in four shots a piece and leave you sitting there for a while.

can you indicate where these points are with a map? i've never been there and i want to go at mid 8x. strategies?

I made a picture guide to Newties for Outlaws/Corsairs. Not much explanation required; in most spots it's just freeze, then shoot everything that spawns.

Newtie range is about the same as Invisible shot's range. You'll start taking hits as soon as you pass the rope on the middle platform. It's only "sniping" because you're still standing on the fringes rather than attacking in the fray like Corsairs do. The good news is, if you're not lagging much and there's more than one person on the map, you can usually freeze the Newties and avoid taking damage 95% of the time.

I watched a video of a Corsair getting the Hypnotize quest and they avoided the hell out of the Neckis. What exactly does touching the Neckis in that quest do? I remember avoiding them because I thought they might 1hko me or something, so I didn't even bother experimenting. I presume it just teles you back to the beginning?

Yes, all the way back to the beginning. If you're on the third map, you go back to the first. Happened to me a few times

Yea, they just teleport you back to the start.

So upon leveling once more i have a dilema. My current build is as follows:

26 DS
3 barrage
1 S Trans
1TL
1SI
1 Demo

My question is: upon leveling, should i put 2 into barrage to attempt to pass the 20 book? or place all the points into dragon strike? I can go either way, but i think i' opting to train more than boss.

If you are gonna train then put in points into DS since you can always pass the book later, and you are not gonna take advantage of the SP on barrage anyways since the skill level is low.

What server you on and how much does Cannon 30 cost on it?

I play on Bera and I bought my Cannon 30 for about 3m back in March and passed it on the first try. Not sure if it's higher (because of the recent mass influx of Corsairs) or lower (because more are available) now.

I was buying 5~10m in bello (1/8 tries). With all the new corsairs that popped up same time, it's now worth 20~30mil.

Man there's 3 in FM on my server at the moment. All 40m ... I don't wanna pay that after seeing what you guys just posted though >.>

I found one, and bought 3 others for 30m. There weren't ANY Cannon 30's in Kradia for a loooong time so I just went ahead and bought them 'cause I was desperate to work one. :S

Is my damage range bad or average or decent?

Zakum Helmet.
Deputy Star.
Clean Earrings.
6 Dex, 3 ATT PAC.
8 ATT WG.
100%ed Overall.
67 ATT, 5 Dex Maple Cannon Shooter.
And Clean 2 Str, 1 Dex Shoes.

Also, what should I upgrade next? My gun?
