Scheduled Server Maintenance

MapleStory will be going through a scheduled maintenance on Monday, May 18th, 2009.



This one involves all game servers, and it'll last for approximately 3 hours.

The following will be addressed in the server maintenance:

- Family System -- Users who couldn't be in a family or add juniors will be able to do so
- Overlapping of 2x EXP from family system and 2x EXP events

Wow, they actually care about the family/event stack O_o

Good riddance to 8x EXP, and hopefully the abusers too.

And this girl admitted that she plans on CONTINUING to exploit these glitches and claimes she will not be banned even if she is caught.

I'll be very disappointed if Nexon waits untill the June patch to fix the skills. Not only because I'm a Shadower myself, but they just suck as a company if they wait so long to fix bugs in their game. These bugs shouldn't even excist if they had a good team actually testing the new content/adjustments before opening the game.

And I thought Nexon was getting better lately... I guess not.

Well, at least they're fixing families, but that isn't the most important thing in my opinion, skills are. >_>

So they're fixing family system, wonderful, what about the hundreds of thousands or rep points lost? And what about Sharpy and Sally's medals... plus more I won't know about.

They will hopefully restore the families and reputation. I assume the families still excist, since if you've been in one before the patch you can't create a new family. Otherwise they should have at least back-ups to restore. >_>

But I guess only time can tell.

^Yes it does stack and should. In KMS, event + family don't stack but card + family do.

It's not like it matters much, you can only get a possible one hour of 4x per day.

I have friends that get waaay more than one hour of 2x a day, they do a lot of party shuffling and can get as many hours as they play a day, like 8 or more.
