Gunslinger Build (Lv. 10-200)
Bribery Wrote:If you don't mind, could you do a similar speed test for Invisible Shot? I'm curious about its speed.

Just checked, and it appears to be the same as Triple Fire; 88 shots fired per minute. Had to check with a 30 second timer though because I ran out of MP after about 45 seconds of spamming it.. haha Tongue

Ooh that's good. I'm really liking the speed on Gunslingers Big Grin

Could you also test Fake Shot? I added in an "Attack Speed" section in the introduction section. Biggrin

Wow, it's the same as well lol. 88 shots per minute.

It was a little trickier to do since Fake Shot doesn't use any bullets.. xD

88 shots per minute with booster is slow. Frown
That's falling in the range of Bowmen. >__<
Mi sad now

I made a big mistake on my Valkyrie yesterday & today.. Changed my build around a bit because of the new Boss PQ that came out (a level every 3 hours? sweet!) but now they've nerfed it so it hardly gives any EXP at all.. Anyway, what I did was added in 5 points to Gaviota (2 after getting max Triple Fire at level 77 and 3 at 78). It was REALLY helpful during the PQ because it just added on about 2k extra damage every 5 seconds.. but now that the PQ sucks, I tried it during actual training and it's TERRIBLE! One thing I hadn't realized before was that Gaviota removes the stun on any monster it attacks.. So, since I'm currently training at Death Teddies, any time I have a mob stunned and I want to summon Gaviota, it removes the stun and I get hit. I guess it's more of a bossing skill than I thought. I'd recommend not getting it until you can handle training without Fake Shot.. Or maybe it doesn't remove a freeze effect? Then I'd have even more reason to get Cooling Effect early.. I guess I'll find out next level.

Figured you guys might be interested in that info. :X

Oh wow I wasn't aware of the stun removal. Maybe I'll get Cooling Effect earlier then. Finally, an actual advantage to getting Cooling Effect early Excellent

Oh, since you have Gaviota, could you test it at Jr. Newties and see if it hits the Newtie on the middle platform?

Try refreshing or turning on Java Script.

Sorry for not posting much these days. I've been busy training my Bishop. How fun Tongue

A friend of mine, BlueFalcon, just tested Double Fire's speed using a fast gun and booster.. it's a lot faster than I thought. I was expecting it to fire 132 times per minute (1.5x Triple Fire's speed), but instead, it fires 144 times per minute. Note, that's FIRING, as in 144 times 2 bullets. 288 bullets per minute.

I'll have to wait to test Gaviota at Newties until after I level again, haha. I'm sure I'll end up dying sometime on the way there (or while I'm there), and I'd rather not risk losing 10% lol. So I'll be able to get you that info within the next day or so.

Wow that is freaking fast :f6:

When you tested Triple Fire's speed, was it also with a Fast gun?
Reply
Yeah, our guns were the same speed. Tongue

Edit so I don't double post:
Just tested Gaviota on a frozen monster (frozen with Cooling Effect), and it doesn't remove the freeze. Getting Gaviota before Cooling Effect is now a very bad idea, lol.

Yeah, Cooling Effect before Gaviota seems like a good idea now. I changed the build around so that 25 Cooling Effect comes before Gaviota.

Nice. Tongue

Also, I just tested Gaviota at Jr. Newties.. it's not so great. When you're standing behind the rope on the middle platform, Gaviota can hit the first Newtie, but a lot of the time it doesn't. Sometimes it'll just fly around and not do anything and sometimes it'll fly up and hit one of the top Newties. If you're standing on the platform below that one though (horizontal with the Newties), Gaviota will hit either the first or second monster on that platform.

As a side note, here's something that everyone might be interested in. If mini dungeons ever come to gMS, you'll never have to worry about looking for a Jr. Newties map again. See the yellow portal ring on the minimap in the screenshot up there? That's the entrance to a mini dungeon that's absolutely identical to the main Jr. Newties map. The only difference is that it's instanced and only allows you and your party members inside. Figured that'd be a pretty cool bit of side information. Tongue

Oh my god! It's almost like "your own" map? Big Grin
Please, more information about this. :]

Yeah, once you go in, no one else is able to get in. It's your own personal map. If you want to have a party inside, you make the party outside the map and when the leader goes in the rest of the party is warped in as well. There's a two hour timer on the map but it resets after you leave and come back.

What are the reqs for this? D:
Is there some kind of story line to it? xP
Where else is it? Big Grin
