What will the '09 Maple Weapons be?

isnt there already an animation in the wz files for the new weapon effects when you use them?

If we are gonna go belts, then medals should be considered as well, maybe a 2 to all stats, 50/50 hp/mp, and 75/75 def m. def?

+3 all stats? how do you get em? I was thinking you could talk to the game admin once you had 1 of each of the other equips, so 1 weapon, 1 hat, 1 cape, 1 earring, 1 glove, etc. Although its still a new equip, ya never know, we could get those too this year a-@

They time-expire though.

Its complicated.
The quest begins off with you getting a Maple Leaf in SETUP.
Then after an hour you go back to Cassandra and she gives you a 1hour medal.
You keep the leaf and stuff.
Every hour that you accumulate you get a number higher.
I think there is a time limit between the quest repeatability.
Once the hour reaches 15 you can turn it in to Cassandra for the 6th aniv Medal.

SIMPLY IT IS.
1hour metal -> hour later -> 2hour medal -> 15 hours later -> 15hour medal.
That is the basics of it, but not to sure on the time limit on when you can redo the quest.

You could buy sands of time to increase the time you have with it. xD
But it'll still expire eventually. 8(

im hoping we will get the upgraded maple shields trough leaf event this year. if not then at least let monsters drop the common maple shield ploxxxx ty

Why did they take out the common shields from last years event? Did they just forget about them, or did they plan on having the upgrade systems in but dropped it last second.

I want the Maple Magician Shield...

I really hope we get to upgrade our weapons and we get the class specific shields. I now have two classes that could use them.

If I do get a bandit maple shield, I would scroll it for luk. It would be too expensive to scroll it for W. Att, especially considering at 120 I'll have a khanjar.

If they make 9x weapons, they need to have stat requirements. Having weapons that are known for having extra hp, mp, acc, avoid, etc, being very common, and having good w. att on them without anyu requirements would break the game.

Yeah, but they aren't that common. The problem with Maple weapons is that since they all drop from every monster, there's always a ton of them. How many Night Ravens have you seen in the game? I'm guessing at most there's 20 in GMS right now. There'd be at least 100 of each 9x weapon by the end of the event.

Yes, never to be gotten again until 11 months later, while Bracers and Ravens can be gotten all year round.

The thing is that those are not as common as Maple equipments. In my whole Maple life(and on places like basil) I've seen more Skandas than Shinobis. Shinobis are from gacha and Night ravens require a lot of other items(read: both require a lot of money). Maple weapons drop from monsters.

I think there will be more than 100 at the end of the event though. 1000 would be more realistic IMO.

I swear I saw some 4th anniversary scrolls somewhere.

Shinobi Bracers are weaker than Skandas and Night Ravens are extremely rare, though

Higher level Maple weapons would be stronger than Dragon weapons.

class shields... huntable from mobs or put in the leaf/upgrade system, if they bring the cake back, PLEASE HAVE IT FIXED -____- no glitched spawning crap

im not holding my breath for the class shields but i hope they at least fix the cake and have all the drops huntable through mobs. personally id be happy to not even have the cake boss, i thought it was pointless. i'd rather hunt the weps through reg enemies. not an event boss.
