What will the '09 Maple Weapons be?

I am guessing the maple leaf upgrade event is what we will recieve.
With the near worthless class maple shields.

Uhm, you can buy 70% and 30% Aniv Scrolls from Maple Admin for 1500 leaves.
They can only be used on Maple equips though.
I am not actually sure on if you can use them on weps,
can't read the korean so can't really tell if there are weapon scrolls.

I could've sworn there were lv 9x maple weapons posted somewhere, but no version has gotten them yet. I may be mistaken. Pirate maple weapons would be much appreciated, as my slinger is nearing his 6x where the high level gun would be useful. The glove isn't that great.

Basically, an NPC works as a trade-in. The 'currency' would be Maple Leaves (same ones as last fall for that leaf face equip event). You could turn them in for scrolls, items, etc.

I think it's either items or you get the lvl 35/43 counterpart and turn that in with leaves to make it a lvl 64 item. I never really got a whole lot of details on how it worked.

It would make sense to have new higher lvl maple equips, but id hope that they required some high number of fame to use them. That, and have a lower drop rate, or an extremely high exchange rate with leaves to get.

The only thing that'll be interesting about this year's anniversary is seeing whether or not Nexon chooses to add Maple Shields into the drop tables. Assuming we get Cynguses some time around Christmas, having some more Maple Shields around would make a lot of Soul Masters happy, if yaknaw where I'm coming from. Other than that, the only new Maple equips that only partially benefit those who choose to use them would be the Pirate weapons, and even then, many Buccs and Corsairs have proven that they can maintain their low DEX while still using level 100 weapons.

The knuckle i think would bring a boost to attack for some, since they could then switch out (assuming dexless) theyre capes, shoes, and overalls for attack capes, attack shoes, and str overalls. Hell, if I was able to get a lvl 64 knuckle up to 85~90+ attack, I may just look into trying to switch out my stuff for em, at the very least, my 11/3 dex cape for like a 6~8/4 str one, and trying to scroll a 20~ str overall that i can equip.

This. Most people that play a bucc have enough funding from a previous character that going low dex with maple knucks would be pointless. However it could give unfunded brawlers the chance to try out low-dex builds.

The reason being that they can use a higher lvl knuckle, which needs more dex, and therefore get a higher attack weapon. With the maple knuckles, they have added acc, so if you were able to scroll a relatively well maple knuckle (lvl 64) , then you would be able to swap out the equips that give you the dex to wear the high lvl knuckle for equips that give you more of a damage boost, you would do better. But it does also give less funded people the chance at a higher lvl weapon, but thats assuming they get it as a drop themselves.

what i expect new to this year on GMS in equips would be glove, cape, earring and classe shields. but atm i dont think shields would be a good idea. with gacha box event and D. khanjars wave, now scrolls for shield att are so high in price that more shields would cause a inflation even big. so what is the point to have shields if you cant scroll it?

besides that, i am waiting for the chair +_+, omg the chair would be so cool if was released on (free) event.

Why does everyone forget that theres more to shield scrolls than att and m. att hp, luk, and str. Thats mage, thief, and warrior.

Those scrolls don't inflate enough e-penises.

id rather pay the same amount for the scrolls i need as it would take to buy just 1 of the other scrolls 7 scrolls is better than 1 scroll.

I want there to be shoes a-@ with the lvl 64 (or would it be 70 like the hats?) having 3 of each stat, and 5 jump and 5 speed, with 5 slots (7 if they loved us!).
