IMO, anytime I'd build a sin, I'll go max darksight first job and leave the +1acc/+1avoid skill at 10.

Ya, thats a good idea to max dark site in first job. But when I build my sin every single guide out there told you to max Nimble Feet and leave Dark Sight at 10. How was I supposed to know any different?

I got Dark Sight instead of maxing Booster at the end of 2nd job because of stupid 1st job guides... I've never needed the extra acc that Nimble Body gives and I don't think 10 avoid does much.
I think I'll finish up booster (or at least 180 seconds) at the end of 3rd, since Shadow Meso/Shadow Web don't need all 31 points. I use Dark Sight more than Drain, so yeah... I dunno how the idea that it's not useful came to be.

At level 57, your Dex should be between 90 or 100. Neither is high. Your damage range is (probably) weak because you're; A) a Str bandit B) you probably don't have an Att WG C) using a 100%'ed dagger.

I figure I won't waste the money to buy a scrolled/scroll a good dagger since I'll only be using it for 14 levels, until I can equip my Asura, which I'll 40% ![]() Now my only dillema is about my dex again. I'm thinking I'll cap it at 120 for the time being, and once I get better equips and MW I can start resetting it back into luk. I'm fine with lower damage, my main is an Arch Mage after all :o

ok, well everyone knows that I restarted my hermit (go figure... 160 dex!) and so now it's level 55
I got a 13 atk BWG, 4 atk 8 luk PAC, 2 atk clean Facestompers, 46 atk bracer, no zak (fail), and a 14 luk top... I want to know what I should upgrade I'm dexless BTW

Here's an easy question.
Hidden-street says BS does 500% dmg. Is this 500% per hit, or between the two hits?

Your shield and your glove would be the most beneficial to your damage to upgrade.

And I'm not willing to calculate everything for you, but I'll give you a rough estimate that totally ignores monster Def and takes SB as the skill used. Coolie/Minor zombie: 4500hp. 4500/4.8 = 937.5 minimum. Will come to around 1000 min or so when you factor in Def, methinks. Mixed Golem: 6000hp. 6000/4.8 = 1250 minimum. Will come to something over1300 if you factor in monster Def.

As a 6-hit skill, SB is very unlikely to hit at the bottom end, so as long as 1000 is around the bottom 25% of your range you'll barely ever 2hko zombies.

It's the best option you have if you want the best damage in 4th job. IF you don't have a couple of billions of mesos to invest into your character.
But that doesn't in any way mean you should convert to Str right away. I recommend starting to convert at level 100 or higher. |
