How has your Hackshield experience been?
#61
No problems here so far.
It looks so much better than GG on my opinion.
But I wonder if it's going to make the hacking situation any different.

The touchpad thingy on my laptop is fine though.

Anyone try this on Windows 7 Beta? I finally got my XP Kaspersky to work perfectly, so I don't feel like screwing it up xD

Gamegaurd was not compatible with Win7B btw.

It has been worse than Gameguard for me. Random programs crash, or their backgrounds become all black (Firefox and Windows Update o_o).

Haven't been playing much since I updated, but the few times I've been on I've experienced no problems what so ever. Tongue

I heard the windows XP mode that comes seperate with windows 7 makes games and such work really well with windows 7. For instance, star craft had trouble being played on windows vista but if you try windows 7 beta and windows xp mode it works fine for my friend. So try running, hackshield with windows 7 + XP mode.

It's going fine for me, except for the possibility that it's screwing up my computer's ability to detect a keyboard. Then again, it could be the Windows Update I installed earlier.

I hate the blotchy black spots that show up on my Firefox when I tab out. I also can't stand how peoples' display pictures show up as black squares on MSN. I don't care too much about how it puts up against hacking; we all know anything and everything will be bypassed eventually. Just because it tampers with my MSN, Hackshield sucks shi't.

Hackshield is seriously not beneficial to me. I cant go zak anymore since it blocks windows compatability mode.

I'm still getting the damn hacking error. I even reinstalled twice, run many scans, changed my hosts in the hosts folder, deleted anything that Ahnrpt.exe said might be a problem, and turned off all messengers and firewalls/virus scanners. I have nothing else to do. I'm still getting the error where it says I've executed a suspected hacking thing. damn pomegranate

It's nice except for the fact that it likes to DC people at Zakum/HT so our runs are a lot harder now lol

other than the fact my antivirus keeps claiming an "unknown process" (hackshield) is a keylogger, its quite fine.

For me, rolling over those black spots for a few seconds makes them disappear.

an easier way is to switch tabs, and this happens with chrome too

I have no problems at all. And I like it more then nProtect. Since you can run 2 maples at one time Smile
