The GM scroll is really patched

hi everyone, i didnt see any thread here about this, so here i go

After see the thread on SW forums, about the possible patch of GM scrolls, i tried check by myself if was true or fake. for my surprise i can say is true and GM scrolls are patched, unless the exchange quest give now both scrolls for 1 handed sword (60% and 100% GM) what i really doubt since i got not just 1, but 2 60% scrolls. i guess after all this time nexon finally notice the scroll was a glitch and wasnt supposed to be on game. in my opinion the new map made that change necessary to game since the hunt for badges become something so easy to do. i believe is just matter of time until more proof come but i doubt nexon will ever say anything about this.

now all they need to do is release other GM scrolls in order to balance things out since 1 hand sword got a chance to be godly. Just no claw GM scrolls, they already abuse enough :|

They first release it, then patch it after a lot of months from the release, like if nothing happened.. they should at least remove all the GM scrolls in the game, to make it fair, in my opinion.

Most people that wanted them used them for lunchboxes anyway, so it's not like the market will be affected too much.

It wouldn’t have been much of an issue if they just fixed it a lot sooner. They leave things too long.

I'm sure the thread starter is thrilled being that he used a glitch to get enough GM Scrolls from it to scroll his sword.

And that's fair to the people that paid several hundred million in mesos or lots of NX? That'd be equivalent to stealing money from its own players. Nexon should just leave it as is. Most people that wanted them used them for lunchboxes anyway, so it's not like the market will be affected too much.

some peoples paid 200-300k nx for a single scroll.

i dont get the point of making it public, sellers will buy all gm scroll from fm, and resell it hella overpriced, and who already have his godly 1h sword will be like: kekekek i own you, now go buy ur overpriced scroll while i got 7 for less than 2bil.

i am indeed really happy with my sword (142/21 carabella), that i made using the GM scrolls. and i am not the only one who used those scrolls to make a Godly sword ( http://www.southperry.net/forums/showthr...t=lunchbox) and i never hide this fact from anyone. in fact i never hide the fact GM scroll was out in game, back then in 2008 when i made this post ( http://www.southperry.net/forums/showpos...tcount=403) since that time is been passed 7 months and i never heard nexon says "you are not allowed to do this, is a glitch" so not just me, but everyone got a chance to farm those scrolls and make any use of it until now. if nexon changed their minds and patched the scroll from exchange quest all i can do is move on. but i dont think i did anything wrong ,especially cause to get those scrolls i used my time, mesos, and lots of NX that nexon for sure was glad to have til now.

did you heard anywhere this is a glitch? do you have any proof? or are you just pointing fingers to try state that i am wrong and you are right?

I think you know I'm right. Nexon has fixed similar issues to that like the Maplemas Christmas Light one and blocked Gachapon in a similar way. You know that it was not the proper means to obtain the scrolls and you did it anyways.

Unless we actually find a way to get exchange quest data or there is an announcement from Nexon, we can't say 100% it is patched. All we can do is assume it is patched due to the current situation.

For example, it could still be there, but at a 0.000000000000000000001% chance. Technically, no it's not patched but realistically, we can just say it is because the chances of getting another one are extremely slim.

Not really arguing, but just pointing out the fact that gm scrolls "may" still come from there. Just the chances of it still being there are very low that people will just go and assume they're gone which is a pretty safe assumption.

Anyways, people are just gonna horde them if they got any. If LBs come out again, I'm pretty sure they'll go max mesos easily. Personally, I wish they were never obtainable from the EQ but whatever.

well if you so sure it is a glitch, log a ticket to nexon, and they will patch on same way they patched GM scroll. this suppose "glitch" is been out since 2008 too you can check http://www.southperry.net/forums/search....hid=474406 . i wont harrisonize (rofl) this thread, so if you have any questions, or just want prove you right i am wrong you can PM me i will glad answer you. but in my point of view i didnt anything wrong

If yer gonna be arrogant about it, drop it. This thread was made to inform the community of the removal of GM scrolls, not to argue whether they meant to incorporate them in the first place.
