Is there any way a BM can kill BF efficiently without dying?

How does a BM deal with BF?

BF used to be really easy as a BM. We could Puppet hold it (Puppet, attack attack, Puppet, attack attack, etc) or lure it over to a wall and pin it quite easily. However, now that BF has been changed big time, it's quite difficult to solo as a BM (or any ranged class for that matter). His hitbox was raised, so now it's impossible to jump over him (which was very helpful in luring). His missing hitboxes weren't fixed, so many of our arrows go right through him. And for some reason, whatever they did, BF is now WAY more aggressive. Puppet holding doesn't work because he destroys it almost instantly every time and gains ground on you constantly. It's horrific.
To review: Impossible to jump over = leaves little option for escape besides CC/log off/go in portal; harder to get over to wall Way more aggressive = destroys Puppet easily, gains ground very fast Hitboxes still missing = gains ground very fast, hurts our DPM, can't use traditional pin methods BF is now one insanely anti-ranged boss. Warriors that can survive his touch damage are the ones that own him now. The only map I can kill BF now is the Twisted Paths. Forgotten Path and Evil Dead are VERY dangerous, if not impossible without death. Twisted Paths work good because they're long and have many Jr Wraiths which work good if you desperately need to switch sides with BF. On Twisted Paths, I use my old Puppet method. The only difference is I constantly have to lose ground and switch sides when BF gets me to the wall. Just back and forth until he's dead. Keep Puppet up as good as you can and attack whenever you can. I assume the wall pin method still works, it's just that it's much harder to get him there as a ranged class now. I haven't done it since his horrible changes. Can any other ranged confirm it still works?

I can still pin the fucker with Rapid Fire if it's stuck in a corner, but only like 1/3 of my shots connect, so it's pretty pointless. He dies much faster just by shooting him and constantly running away, but I typically die like 10 times just because it's incredibly difficult to make sure you have Jr wraiths to tank for the entire fight, and get through him fast enough with Recoil. I imagine it must be 10 times harder for an archer to get through him by tanking a wraith.

I havn't fought him recently but I did fight him a few times right after they screwed it up. What I noticed was that you can still pin him with hurricane when he's hugging the wall, but he can easily get close to you when you have to recast spells. Before you had plenty of time to recast spells and even if he got out of corner you can push him back with hurricane alone. Now, I had to use puppet right before casting spells to hold him in place which did work most of the time since he kills puppet then runs back in the corner mostly. If you have others attacking it at same time you can't keep him in corner. When I tried this with NL buddies, as soon as they land a hit he starts running at you. So its a bit easier to solo than in party.
The only way I was able to get him into the corner was to hit him, run into a corner and wait for him. Then puppet and go in trade shop/cs and come out. If he's in the corner then attack him if not try it again.

but then again, you HAVE to have it on Forgotten Path for that method to work lol

What I do is I go hunting on my hs mule. Then when I find one, I log off, log on my pg mule, then pg it, and run into the corner, where BF continues to attack it after its death. Then I move my archer there on another computer and pin it to the wall and kill it from there.
Wall pin still works, though I noticed it gets unpinned a lot easier. When it does get unpinned, I'll just use the puppet method from a distance and get cornered, cc and repeat the other way till its dead. Its not very affective and often very scary to my charms, which is why I dont do it often, but its possible if Im not careless and whatnot.

for twisted paths I found it easy to agro BF, place puppet, run the opposite direction and snipe. rinse and repeat until you get cornered then quickly enter the CS to spawn in the middle of the map. and yea...do it all over again

(Twisted Paths) When I BF I aggro it, run to the side on hog, Puppet in the corner, then bump into a Wraith for invincibility or cc if there are none. Then you can try and pin it using the usual Puppet push method. It's a pretty dangerous method and I get killed when things don't go my way, but yes, BF still pins. Before the changes I would just jump over it but unfortunately that doesn't work anymore.
