How has your Hackshield experience been?

I was just wondering how many people have had no problems, have had problems, and so forth since switching to Hackshield.

Personally, I've had no problems, which actually surprised me. What about you?

i've only been on MS once so far since we got hackshield, but I didn't have any problems.

Haven't had any problems at all so far. Seems to be working better than gameguard too.

Using Vista btw.

As a means of testing the previous problems people have had with it, I've been running MS minimized for a few hours now while running all of my usual applications. I've had zero problems, and, if anything, Maple lags less when open and close it.

Definitely an improvement so far, I'd say.

Same here. I noticed my browser and itunes working without (or as much of) the usual performance difference.

The only problem i've had so far is the fact that clicking the shortcut to update instantly caused a BSOD, but reinstalling from the .69 installer did the trick. Though i still had to make a new shortcut after it finished because the one it made wasn't linked right or something.

I've had no problems. Also, the large lag spike I'd always get soon after starting maple is gone now.

Ive had no problems other, either than Excellent members coming into my fish and bombing me, but that has nothing to do with hackshield. Overall, Im pleased with it though iono... it seems to take <slightly> longer to load up than gameguard?

No problems so far. The only beef I may have is that when I enter Windowed mode my Firefox windows get all funky and I have to minimize and restore. Otherwise, no crazy problems that others have reported.

On to the serious question: Has anyone found any hackers so far in-game?

*FORGOT TO MENTION I'M PLAYING ON VISTA.

Maple randomly disconnected me twice giving some Hackshield error. I wasn't doing anything but chatting in game, so no lags or anything just randomly disconnected (closed maple completely). Gave some errior message but forgot what it is now, if it happens again i'll report back here. Also wouldn't let me in game right after patch, had to try a few times. I was up late for a good fm spot too

This is on vista. Havn't checked on computer thats running on xp yet.

I didn't really enter maple since they blocked all brazilians from MS... idk if that counts as a problem with hackshield.

I like hackshield except for the fact that it D/Cs me every two minutes or so. Anyone find a fix for this?

Ummm. I dled the patch with no problems, idc if that counts. I quit when it was done cause I'm not allowed to play comp/vid games until June... @_@

It's been marvelous so far. I do everything like I always have without any problems. All the programs I usually use don't conflict with Hackshield. Inside MS doesn't seem much different. I haven't tried Zaking or HTing yet though. Maybe they're improved now? I don't usually have lag problems in MS anyway.

Closing MS is faster now. Before I always had to wait for GG to go away before my computer was fully returned to normal. HS seems to close along with MS just as quickly.

As long as hacks stay low or go down even more, I definitely approve of HS.

Um how about the fact that I can't even fucking connect? This crap is horrible.

vmware make maple closes T_T, and it mess up my desktop when i go windowed mode

i can even use aol proxy to play maple, so all good i guess

First time I tried, gave me an error.
Maplestory shortcut doesn't work.

Once I got in, ran the same as GG

go into the maplestory folder through the windows explorer context and create a new icon for maple in the desktop, after updating the old icon stops working

I just patched and the window is open. I'm scared to press play. =/
