EDIT: checked myself, its really only hackshield, a few new (untranslated) items and some minor quest changes.

how do you guys get the files when it is not in the ftp server.

i got mine from someones patcher. Im guessing they are using a new ftp source for the files.

EDIT: Well, thanks Nexon, youve screwed me outta my fun at home I cant get HS to update on dial-up, it just gives an update timeout. Game Guard has never had this happen, and theyre file updates were never too large for dial up. Thanks again Nexon

L>Prepatcher. Once again nexon patcher fails. I keep getting different errors each time i try to patch. or it keeps crashing. Capped net too doesn't help.

JapanMS also got the hackshield update as well..

What i've seen is..
server lag during peak times seemed to have vanished.
Xfire no longer works correctly.. (Can't use ingame)
and other stuff..

Overall HS > GG, unless we see lots of hacking attempts

I got it to update after closing firefox as well as ending maplestory.exe from the process list.

Aside from the slower updates, so far its running better than GG @-a. Actually, browsing the web works better than before. Also, it seems less laggy overall but its still early, not many people on.

My friend can't alt-tab without her computer freaking out in the process and DxWnd doesn't seem to work anymore according my other friend.[/SIZE]

I applaud you sir..... once upon a time I played ms with dialup and it was literally HELL!! So you deserve a medal for continuing to play on dialup.
