Maple marriages an issue?

Though I do agree this is rather bogus. Most people are marrying for apples rather than for love/friendship. (Though then again, this is what goes on in real life at times too.)

SEA =/= apples.

I'm on the same page Stereo. Marriage in MS to me is nothing more than business or a transaction. It's for those apples and nothing more. Hell I'll marry another guy or a park bench for all I care. Of course how will kids explain that to their parents " I'ts not real marriage, mom, We do it for dem appelz!" "You're spending $30 for apples?!"

Althouth IRL im TERRIFIED of marriage.

I would like to note that MSEA playes do not "marry off" their characters to mules, nor do they marry just for APQ.

Tongue

I guess that's the problem. You have to go through some kind of Maple relationship before you can get married...

The concept of marriage in MS is an intresting topic to discuss.
I'll elaborate when I get home, but for now.

For me, my MS marriage is a serious one, because I am married with my rl bf.

No offense here, but my classmate married his rl gf. And when they broke up...? I guess you can see what happens.

I don't see the big deal. It's not our fault if a few 12 year old kiddies take it too seriously. I'm married for apples, to another guy in a different country o.O

As I said in the post above, MSEA players do take Maple marriages seriously... Goggleemoticon They "date" for some time before getting married.

Some people have too much money.

My maple husband and me love each other, but we would not have coughed up the $$ for a wedding if it weren't for apples. The dedicated whisper channel - Spouse Chat - is available once you're engaged (which costs no NX), and romantic heart effects similar to wedding rings are available using crush rings that cost a lot less. So what is worth all the $$? The ceremony that is glitched so it is rushed through?

So anyway, if these kids have the money to get "married" and "divorced" at the same rate they change their cash-shop outfits... *shrug*

I can see your point, but I don't see the relavance of bring up your classmate into the discussion?

I am in a very serious relationship with my bf, we are practically engaged. So everytime I see someone looking at us, F6ing at us and says "Pixel lurve", it kinda gets into me.

Anyways, on topic.

I'll keep it simple again.

APPLES.

RUINS

EVERYTHING.

Ok, I am done with my discussion.

Mean people in Scania.
In Kradia, whenever people pass by my husband and me, they smile and say things like "how sweet". That is, if they say anything at all. Mostly they just stare a bit and then go on.

I've never married. I'm even too cheap for a wedding, even though I have a crapload of NX left. That's reserved for smegaing Rick-Rolls....eventually.

Maple marriage(or any online marriage) is just plan stupid =.= imagine some 10yrs old boy and 10yrs old girl calling each other "honey" "hubby" "babe" or w/e, and saying they love each other. It just disgusts me.

And the new family thing, some people actually call their senior "mom" "dad", and their junior "son", this is even more disgusting >.<
