Yeah, I'm going to have to go ahead and go with a "What the pineapple?" on that post, haha01haha01. Seriously, I had to read your post 6+ times before I could even remotely make out what you were trying to say, and I'm still quite confused.
And as far as words changing, take "f'uck" for example. The word was originally an acronym that stood for "Fornication Under Consent of the King". The fact of the matter is, meanings of words get twisted by twisted people. Been to the UK lately? If the word "f'ag" offends you, don't go there because you'll have a heart attack. Almost every time you walk by a smoker, you're going to hear that word. The reason I say all of this, is because word usage nowadays is directly associated with connotation. Any self respecting man wouldn't walk into a group of gays and ask "Can someone please pass me a f'ag?" because it wouldn't make any sense at all, especially in the United States. Words are more than just letters thrown together. Some carry intense meaning that should seriously be considered before the words pass your lips. Point is, words aren't just words, and anyone who thinks so is a fool.

I actually looked this up online a few days ago because I noticed how most gay males have girls as a majority of their friends. A lot or some of this may be irrelevant. I honestly don't know, but some good answers were things like that gay guys aren't there to try and get a relationship or something out of the friendship. Most gays I know actually listen to what the girls are saying, instead of staring at their breasts and nodding aimlessly (which I have seen many people do). Some people also think it's a motherly instinct for girls to care about the people always being abused or neglected or whatever and it helps to form a stronger friendship bond when you know you can trust the other person. Plus, we like the same stuff: shopping, unicorns and men.

Personally, I do in some ways. I care about how I look. I like fashion and I go to the mall all the time with my friends. I don't play sports (except occasionally going over my friends' houses for a game of baseball or something). But I'm not over-the-top, like Chris Crocker for example. He's funny and all, but if I didn't know who he was I would seriously think he was a girl. (Please tell me you know who Chris Crocker is. :<) No, I do not have that annoying stereotypical gay man accent.
Ergh. Lots of pain medication makes me dizzzzy.

No I am not active in the gay community, I am too young to go to the larger one and even thinking about mentioning a gay teen community here would get me killed. Sadly.
the question about using gay as a synonym for stupid is one I can't answer,
I hate that people do it and I correct people any time the use it like that. It is really annoying but I can't change the whole word. ><"
@DevilsSunrise
I go crazy, I absolutely freak out. I actually acted upon these feelings towards I guy I swore was gay and he was hot. Turned out he wasn't and now holds my social life in his hands. 8)
@ClawOfBeta
You could say I do, but not extremely.
Most people that I have told I am gay say that I hide it very well and are extremely surprised to find out. I myself think I act very gay, I love little asian cute trinkets and pens. Also I am obsessed with cute asian pictures like my avatar.
@haha
You could say we do, because we want the same type of love persay.
We both want guys, we know what we want from them, and we want it.
Again I am generalizing, I know there are a lot of different kind of gays out there, just aiming for the typical teenager route.

can I answer stuff in this thread too?
ClawofBeta Wrote:Do you act like a stereotypical gay?
I don't. a lot of my friends have described me as the "straightest gay guy I know", simply because I'm just like any other average guy. I like sports (especially college football), hell I even used to do some basic BMX biking and stuff. I don't really care about fashion; it's always just jeans & a t-shirt. and I definitely don't have the stereotypical accent lol.
haha01haha01 Wrote:Why do gays understand girls better?
ehh I know I sure don't. I basically deal with everyone the same way, regardless of gender. most of my friends are male.
gay people are just like anyone else. we're all different in our own ways.

TJ, you're gay? o_o
I never knew lol.
The majority of my friends are girls, and I understand both sexes pretty well!
I'm straight, but I don't feel in the slightest bit awkward near gays: why should we anyways?

I'm not old enough to marry yet, nor do I have anybody to marry (-cries-), but they do kind of make me mad. They just come in and control our lives. It's like the racism against blacks (not really, but I'm bad at comparisons). People think their superior because they're "normal" or whatever. Being gay is not a choice, like the color of your skin isn't a choice. We shouldn't be treated that differently for it. I honestly don't think marriage is as important as other things. It's often used for financial reasons. If you truly love the person you're with, you don't need some religious ritual to tell you that.
/end badly constructed and horribly done paragraph attempt

Psh. Yes, of course. Some girls are so adooorable. I have dated girls that I actually have liked. I guess I'm not completely gay.

How are you sure that you are gay, perhaps as opposed to being bisexual but having never met the right girl?

I wouldn't know you were gay just because you like asian teddy bear pictures or something along the lines of that.

nope. never had any attraction to girls. like many people though, I dated a lot of girls in high school to "cover up". wasn't exactly enjoyable.
crewe127 Wrote:How badly do those "Non-Gay rights/marriage/adoption/etc." people piss you off?
if they simply believe something like gay marriage should be between a man and a woman, I respect that. it's when someone tries to force that belief onto my life that I have a problem with it. it doesn't really piss me off so much as it becomes extremely frustrating. it's hard to know that if someday I do fall in love, I won't be allowed to experience a lot of the things that straight couples take for granted, and the worst part is it's because a lot of people think that I'm an abomination just for being myself.
Thunda Wrote:How are you sure that you are gay, perhaps as opposed to being bisexual but having never met the right girl?
well, I've never been attracted to any girls, and that's enough proof for me. sure, maybe the "right girl" is out there, but I don't see any point in wondering about that when I've never had any evidence that she is even a possibility. it's like wondering if something like purple chickens exist.. why consider something like that when absolutely no proof has surfaced in favor of it?

I thought about correcting Omega, but then I realized it wasn't important to be right on the internet at all times.
Then I realized I had been HIT BY THE MATURITY TRUCK!
Its huge.

Noooooooooooooo lol. I was just simply saying that a guy in a southern jock infested place obsessed with everything cutesy would be highly suspected of being gay, but apparently people can't pick up on that.
And the artist is Sanrio. lol
The character is Tenorikuma.
