Ask me anything.
#1
So, the other thread about God and Gay people and all that jazz got locked.
I saw a bunch of stuff trying to prove me wrong, someone who has first hand experience at being gay, and I wanted to LOL so hard.
So I say unto you;

Ask me, the amazing homosexual Vernacular, anything you want to know about being a homosexual teenager.

If this is a bad thread/or Mods may think it'll cause to much trouble please lock it.
I just want to get pomegranate settled and questions answered.

You can't get correct answers from someone who doesn't know what it is to be gay.
I'm sorry, but this is just how it is.

If anyone else has any input please do. Hurt

As difficult as it can be to find people that are mutually interested in dating, I can imagine it would be even moreso to find someone in that small minority that are homosexual. Frustrating at all?

Ugh, it is so frustrating.
I, even if I am not out completely in the real world, consider everyday just giving up and cutting my plantain off.
Ok maybe not that extreme but it is very frustrating.
Guys I see, I like, and are very cute torment me every day with their jokes and stuff not knowing that I like it involuntarily.
I'm only in highschool, I'm in the south (Texas), and it is very hard.
I just shrug it off and wait, but basically it is frustrating.
There is a lot more to this, including failed attempts and my identity in the hands of someone I have now grown to dislike extremely, but that is irrelevant.
Hope your question was answered lol. Goggleemoticon

More or less, and, believe it or not, I can sympathize - I've fallen madly in love on 2 seperate occasions with girls that turned out to be lesbians. They flirted with me constantly until I asked them out, at which point I got the shocked "Don't you know I'm a lesbian?" replies.

Well, I can't say whether or not I was trying to disprove you or not, because you never stated any arguments. I'm assuming you were taking offense to the claim that "homosexuality is a choice". You don't really have to worry, because it is not a choice. I have not seen any real research to back up that claim, although there are cases of individuals that have changed their sexual orientation during their lifetime.

I'm sorry to hear that. I would say just stick it out, but I've been doing that and it's really not working much anymore. All I can say is good luck. Kiss

That is one of the main arguments, and it pisses me. I have never, and never will, been sexually attracted to a girl. I have said "Oh that girl is pretty" because the girl was. I have used girls in the past as coverups, sadly, and that is the only time I have ever been with a girl. Just trying to get stuff cleared up. Thanks for your support. ^^

When did you find out you were gay?

While you said you've never felt sexually attracted to a girl was there a point where you thought you should like girls because "you're supposed" too?

On a scale of 1 to 10 how gay are you?

Pitcher or receiver?

Why does everyone think Rainbows are gay?

Does race matter in guys you like?

Crossdressing, yes or no?

What types of guys do you like as in, tall, short, looks, etc.

These aren't really questions about gay and being gay but rather you. And you did say ask you anything and I never pass up a chance like that whoever it is and whatever they're into if they say that. lol

I never really found out, but I knew I liked guys when I was around 2nd grade? I thought this boy was cute and I told my mom I liked him.

I only thought I had to date girls because people would find out I was gay and condemn me, this was early middle school times. That has since then changed.

8, I am not flaming though. I am a guy that likes guys. I do like to hangout with girls and talk about girly like stuff I guess, but I also like to go do guy things.

Depends, but because of my recluse personality I'd have to say receiver most of the time. The general rule for me "bigger is the giver."
(bigger meaning overall body structure, not just plantain size lol)

I actually have no idea, because they make people happy? And all gay people want is to be happy. Or maybe because rainbows are a rare thing and gay people are "rare."

Race isn't a big deal, but typically white and asian men turn me on. Its more about if they are muscular/athletic or not. (shallow side of me.)

Crossdressing is a hellno for me, I don't like and know no one that does. I have no room to judge though, so whatever floats your boat.

Most guys that turn me on are tall, slim, and athletic. It's basically the jock type that does it. I would kill for a guy that was like that and actually wanted a relationship, then again at this point I'd kill for a straight jock that just wants to get off.

Lol, I seem pretty shallow. Rolleyes

Quote:When did you find out you were gay?

For some reason this question has always bothered me. It's like asking someone, "When did you find out you were straight?" Many of my gay friends grew up preferring men, and then they were surprised to figure out the social norm was women. So, as far as they're concerned, they always knew. Being gay is not some hidden, dark secret that you figure out.

Also, some of my straight friends are nervous around gay guys as if they have to cover their bungholes or something. That's simply not true. For the good majority of gay men if you tell them you're straight and not interested, they'll back off. I've got a friend or two that I've told to back off and we're still pretty chill friends. Gay guys are interested in men that like other men, at least in my experience.

This topic is fine for the time being, but an "Ask me anything" thread is better suited for the Speakeasy. If this thread gets out of hand, you can be sure it'll get locked.

I meant it as when did he first notice he liked males that way.

We don't come out of the womb wanting to have sex or liking other people in that way after all.

Hell yes. If you like a guy, chances are he's going to be straight or not like you back. Why just yesterday I saw on Facebook...

"(insert name of my love <3 here) is now in a relationship with (insert a dumb peach's name here)."

Made me want to rage. (Which I then kind of did in some thread. *cough*)

Sorry for stealing your thread, Mr. Taylot.

Are you at all active in the larger part of the gay community?

Where I live and the people I work with, we do a lot of activist events for just that, since the leader of our social coalition is a lesbian. We end up doing a lot of protests around the city, as well as a lot of conferences and public events to get the word out about what it's like to be part of the LGBT community. Goggleemoticon

Why do people use the term gay or papaya on every second guy they see just because they dont like him\he annoyed them, even if they know he is straight?

What do you do when you see an attractive man and doesn't know whether he's gay or not?

Even though I'm neither the thread creator or gay I believe I can answer that question.

The meaning of words change over time, I'll use the word papayaots/papayas to prove the point.

papayaots used to mean a bundle of sticks, then went on to insult gays, and now is used to insult people you find either stupid or annoying. As for the meaning of the word changing I don't think it has anything to do with the fact that the ones who started using the word in that way found gay people annoying or stupid.

in that case, why dont people call each other pizzas? being a pizza and being gay is about the same null level of humiliation, IMO.
