How do you grind?
#41
I train with my level 168 Bishop friend, and him only unless a lower level bishop is willing to learn the style of training we do. And my goal is a scrolled HT necklace.

It rarely differs from these steps for me:
Open All Chilled @ 181.fm stream via iTunes radio. (I do this regardless of grinding)
LMPQ prior to grinding (mainly for mana elixirs)
Find Coolie map
Cover EXP bar with Inventory menu
Start killing (First I do the bottom twice, using the pit-tele-thingy on the right to quickly move from one side to the other. The I do the top till they stop spawning...)

;_; I've spent so much time grinding on the last Coolie map, I feel somewhat connected to it..

I haven't been grinding for a while (mostly doing ppq for the hat, and other miscellaneous things). But when I did, it was mostly turn on my music (well, my music is always on, anyways), find a map, and start jumping around and shooting.

I don't even bother loading up on pots, since I don't use that many to begin with. Usually I go until my stars run out, I get tired of grinding, or fall asleep and die. D|

1. Fire up some music.
2. Login
3. Head to Newties losing about 10 Potions during the journey
4. Surf Newtie/Skele maps asking if anyone wants to party me for about an hour
5. Rejected, so I weep softly in the corner
6. Wait for the second poster of this thread to login
7. Stalk and get into a party
8. Turn Powerguard/Rage on
9. Run around like an idiot bumping into monsters
10. Get experience and level
11. Log off
12. Cry and wish I was accepted by more people.

I'm in desperate need of friends. Loneliness is a burden.

I totally agree with you. As long I can train with anyone, I am able to cope training endlessly. I used to train solo all the time but after 15x, gets pretty tedious and boring.

i just.... Grind.
It ain't that hard if you just focus. But I really get mad when I can't hold a spot for 1+ hour. Plus if nub sins start KSing. That annoys me.

Oh, and I also find it lovely to grind with MS music. Don't ask me why... Cool

I need a goal to keep going. My most recent goal was to get enough HP for got to Horntail. I met that yesterday. So now... I dunno... 150 I guess.

I also am somewhat dependent on a friend who pushes me to keep going. If he's not on, I slack. Unfortunately he's been MIA recently.

Maybe I should try to pass him while he's gone.... Biggrin

Training while covering my exp helps me grind, also training with my BM friend makes grinding much easier. Heart

- fill my use with pot
- empty out my etc.
- get to the training map
- get my hb mule there
- start training untill i'm tire

Usually i train with no music or anything at all. I only train with maple story sound or everything is on mute. o_O What keeps me going is i guess seeing how much % i've gain.

I just kill until I get bored, then PQ, FM, or chat. Of course, I listen to music and chat while grinding...

If you listen to books-on-CDs/tapes while grinding, sometimes you get eager to get to grinding so you can listen to how the story turns out. I gained about 10 levels when I listened to "The Da Vinci Code" on CD lol.

How2grind:
-Get them potshuns
-Make sure to have your weapon 'n' stars
-Make sure to recharge your stars, otherwise you're a terrible ninja
-Go to himes & hold the avenger button
-Make sure to listen to music that repeats itself and is really fast
-Watch television (Do not try this at skelegons)
-Slap you priest until she cries, make her mob faster and never forget to HS
-When she becomes a bishop switch worlds and repeat

I buy pots, go to the place that I plan on training, turn on a movie, fall asleep, wake up 20 minutes later to find myself back in town with one charm less.
