It took about ~50000 leaves (all of which I found) but I finally did it. After 4 previous failed sets and a heart-pounding final scrolling this evening...

You can only hold one regardless of the stats, so yeah, you'd have to start a new one.

they are not one of a kind items, just untradeable. I know the maple admin doesnt give you any when you have a set already but couldn't you find a pair dropped by monsters to have more than 1 set?
