We need a really huge sample with a lot more date, though I believe another thread was made to deal with that

Shall we make wolf spiders the first target monster? Would be interesting, as they have a well-known drop table, but no monster book information (as well as 2 disputed drops, both being dark scrolls).

If you mean pole arm for att and spear for att 70%s, I've found both of them. They drop once in a blue moon.
70% Dark Scroll for Spear for ATT
70% Dark Scroll for Pole Arm for ATT
They're not disputed. They definitely drop.

The disputes I was referring to are over whether they CURRENTLY drop, as they were rare to begin with. They could've easily been removed without anyone noticing. I've found both as well, but not since I was 11x. I do believe I said that the last time we brought up the subject of those 2 scrolls.

I don't think you'll ever find out a true drop rate, not even close. Each time something drops you have the same chance of getting that item.

To be simple, let's say that you have 1/10 chance. Hell, you could never get that item, even at that chance.

So, everytime you kill a WS you have the 1/X chance of getting the ilbi. Nothing says you have to get that ilbi after you have amassed the X amount of kills, therefore you will never really get a good aproximation of the drop rate.

Really, when talking about droprate, we mean the average. Everything has a finite average. That includes ilbis. It's just whether or not someone wants to spend the time there and get data for over a x amount of ilbis (because as the amount that you find increases, so does the accuracy of the "droprate")
