Erm, not quite - once you get your 5th card, they don't have an effect anymore. I found this out from cold eye cards (I've looted at least 12).

More like just depressing. ;_; I woulda saved that card anyway because I knew getting 5 gave you the designated monster effect (1.5x exp). I wanted to make use of that in the only way possible. Speaking of which...

MILESTONE ACHIEVED! 300th pure Pap solo!

Documented Pap victories:

PapSolo = 300
PapDuo = 58
PapTrio = 3
1st Pap victory ever = 1

Total = 362

To earn the filename "PapSolo" it had to be a pure solo (only me in the room, PERIOD). "PapDuo" is given to any where I killed it with one other person in the room (helping or simply leeching). "PapTrio" is given to any where I did it with two people helping me. My 1st ever Pap victory was with a group of people. The only Pap victories I didn't SS were a few group kills done with ArtofWar/Alchemists (my old guilds).

Of the 58 PapDuos, 51 were done with MagicTM simply leeching in the corner (only attacked each body once to get exp) and 7 were done with another attacker helping me. I don't consider those 51 "true" solos, but damage wise it'd be safe to say I've done 351 Pap solos.
